OOC: Eldar make sense in the context of the series. They are aliens, why should they see the universe as we do? Same can be said for me and Super Robot Wars then, seems like magic most of the time.

@Ven: That kinda reminds me of an episode of some TV show I watched.
Basically in the episode there was a guy who had a katana that was so sharp he could turn invisible by moving the blade around because it cut through light or wind or something, it's been a while since I watched that show.

@Salt: The problem is, the characters attacking have no reason to save Gerry. Shepard is using the negotiations as a distraction for Garrus (and would sacrifice Gerry in a heartbeat), Rachel isn't going to negotiate with Ikaros and Kefka is just a plain ol' dick.
