The Barrier Spike makes the beast groan from being slightly hurt, but then it quickly recovers. Gerry's bolts stun it again, but only for a second.
The fission eruption slightly chars the beast. Gwen's lowered gravity makes it float. Being pissed off, a tentacle bursts from the back of the beast, as it extends to hit the group. It smashes an inner pillar.
The energy field only in the inner area flickers for a second, but then regains strength.
OoC: Group 2, GO! There are now 3 inner pillars and 5 outer pillars.

Beete turns solid and sees the beast. He turns his arms into tentacles and opens his breastplate. All four of the tentacles wrap around it and squeze tightly.
