James didn't budge as Gerry slammed into him.
"Hey, take it... holy shit, what is that?!" He exclaimed as he caught sight of the creature that was chasing Gerry. Turning to face it, he drew both of his G-18C pistols and stood at the ready.

"Hey! Don't hurt him!" Xu said, standing in front of Joah.
Joah looks at Gerry, and offers his hand again.

Gerry simply hugged James leg and stared at Joah in fear.

"You call it hiding something, I call it saving the rest the trouble of continuously wasting time on my petty, insignificant problems." Erica replied.
"Just drop it, alright? Save your concern for someone who actually deserves it." She added.

 

[Random berk]

James took his fingers off the triggers, but otherwise didn't move.
"Ok, I'm listening. What is it, why is this guy running in terror from it, and is the answer sufficient to stop me from shooting it?" He glanced down at the kid hanging onto his leg.
"That's not really helping kid."

Xu looks at Joah, "Joah, what did I tell you about the group!"
Joah looks down in shame, and Xu looks to James, "He's my Pokemon, a Blaziken."

Gerry stepped away from James, hesitantly.

Grace pounced on Erica and pinned her to the ground. "I thought I had made it clear that I would not tolerate injury in this group." she said as she stared a divining spell to see what was wrong with Erica.

OOC: What IS wrong with Erica?

James let his pistols drop to his sides and stared in surprise.
"A... a pokemon? Are you serious?"

Xu nods, "Yeah, so?"

Joah awkwardly waves.

"Damn. We had a tv show about those when I was a kid. It was just a stupid cartoon, I got bored of it during the first generation. I can't believe they actually exist." As he spokke he heard the scuffle between Erica and Grace.
"Hey, HEY! STOP THAT!" he shouted at Grace. "Leave her alone!"

 

[Chungus]

Erica cried out when her back hit the ground again.
"And I thought I made it clear I don't want any help!
Get off of me!" She yelled as she trashed about, trying to trow Grace off.

Gardevoir floats up to Grace, and looks to Erica.

"You seem to forget how strong I truly am." Grace said as she easily held Erica down and kept up the spell, determined to find out what was wrong with Erica. "I am trying to help this woman, but she is too suborn to accept it. Please do not interfere." she said to James.

Gerry slowly walked away from the scene.

James scowled, then holstered his pistols and began to march toward them. He would have immediately picked Grace up by the scruff of her neck and pulled her off, but what she said gave him pause.
"Why don't you want to be healed?" He asked Erica as he came closer.

 

[Chungus]

"Graah! Get off! Get off Get off!!" Erica yelled as she began kicking Grace.
"I'm stubborn stubburn?! You're the one who insists on helping me when I made it very clear I don't need or want your help!"
"Because it's unnecessary!" She said to James.
