James scratched his head.
"Ok. Take that stance again." As Erica did what she was asked, he stepped forward.
"Right, I'll show you what you need to do here. Don't worry I'll keep my hands only where they should be." He joked, grinning a little awkwardly. Placing his hands on Erica's shoulders, he adjusted them to the right angle.
"Brace the gun with your right shoulder. Take the weight off with your left hand." He tapped her right shin back a bit with his foot.
"Keep your weight slightly on your left foot, but take the recoil with your right. He placed his hand on the barrel of the gun and pulled it up slightly.
"Remember, brace the back of the gun with your palm, here." He tapped just below the base of her thumb. "Anticipate the recoil with each shot." Then he stepped back and examined her posture.
"Looks good, try again. Remember, line up the nub at the front of the barrel with the notch at the back. Figure out which way the wind is blowing and adjust your aim for that. Remember, it will blow the bullet off course a little, depending on the windspeed and angle."

Grace grabbed her necklace instinctively and looked away from Four for a moment. "How...how did you come to hear that name?" she asked in a hushed tone.

"There was a bird, it seemed tasty and convenient at the time." Asha said to Charlie. "Aww, I'm sure if I were conscious I'd have missed you too." She said to Gerry as she continued to lay on the ground with him.
"You said something about him being your brother and wanting to bring him back to life...I think, I might just be remembering things wrong again." Four said, still scratching her chin.

Eh? 'keep my hands only where they should be'? What's that suposed to mean? Erica thought when she heard James' statement. She quickly dismissed the thought in favor of paying attaention to his lesson.
"Oh my... There are so many things to remember... I'll never get the hang of this!"

Erica sighed. She went over James' explaination again in her head before taking aim, taking her time to line the sights up with what she intended to hit.
She fired the weapon, taking the recoil much better then before, but still looking clumsy to say the say as she slightly bended her back backwards when the weapon fired.
The bullet hit the tree, but still not quite where Erica had hoped to hit it.
"Man, this is pointless... Were this an actual fight, I'd be torn to shreds by now..."
"Oh my... There are so many things to remember... I'll never get the hang of this!"

Think of James Vega from Mass Effect 3. He reminds me a bit of my brother, which is kind of in keeping with the theme of the character, so I used him as inspiration.

She that was done, Erica took the propper stance again and fired three more shots, pausing for four second between each shot to readjust her aim. Much to her frustration, none of the shots hit where Erica had hoped for.

"Well, you havethe basic idea." He said. "Like I say, from there its just a case of practicing until you get it. I brought an absolutely ridiculous amount of ammo, so don't worry, just keep at it."
"So you are actually planning on doing that. How?" Four said to Grace. She kept scratching her chin, mostly just because it was itchy at this point.
"Uh, could you please get off me now? I think I have sticks and leaves in my hair." Asha said to Gerry as she gave him a smile in return. "Could you please keep it down?" She shouted at Raiden.

On a side note, you know that thing I kept banging on about while I was playing Relius, Makoto's bad ending? I finally found a video of it and... dear god... the voice acting makes it a thousand times worse...
