James scratched his head.
"Ok. Take that stance again." As Erica did what she was asked, he stepped forward.
"Right, I'll show you what you need to do here. Don't worry I'll keep my hands only where they should be." He joked, grinning a little awkwardly. Placing his hands on Erica's shoulders, he adjusted them to the right angle.
"Brace the gun with your right shoulder. Take the weight off with your left hand." He tapped her right shin back a bit with his foot.
"Keep your weight slightly on your left foot, but take the recoil with your right. He placed his hand on the barrel of the gun and pulled it up slightly.
"Remember, brace the back of the gun with your palm, here." He tapped just below the base of her thumb. "Anticipate the recoil with each shot." Then he stepped back and examined her posture.
"Looks good, try again. Remember, line up the nub at the front of the barrel with the notch at the back. Figure out which way the wind is blowing and adjust your aim for that. Remember, it will blow the bullet off course a little, depending on the windspeed and angle."
