OoC: @Saltyk His entire character is seeking out battle. His ultimate goal is to tempt Ryu into taking up the Satsui No Hado so they can fight to the death, but he'll take any fight he can get. He still seems to have some morality though. He won't kill you if he thinks you can ge stronger, he saved a little kid from a cave on his island, he destroyed a meteor that was gonna wipe out the earth, and though he did it anyway, he didn't like fighting a termially ill opponent, going so far as to spare him, saying it wasn't a fair fight.

"I didn't survive this long by automatically assuming that every new person I encountered was friendly without at least some evidence to go on. Considering that this 'stranger' is a giant carnivorous lizard that's been following us, I'm not about to assume that it just wants us to stroke it behind the ears." James replied.

 

[Saltyk]

"Oh? Perhaps you should find some medicine in the ship to try to take the edge off of that?" Riou said to Erica. "Wait. What's this about a dragon?"

OoC: @Gear Okay. That helps some. Let's see what you do with him, then.

Daniel hung back when he heard the nature of the conversation. His clumsy flying had set everyone off and he grimaced thinking back to the failure.

OoC: Oh, and I didn't know this, but apperently Akuma once sunk a whole island with one punch.

"Eh, I don't trust strangers either, but this dragon isn't exactly a stranger at this point.
We've seen it like what? Three times? Four? And still it hasn't attack, even when we attacked it." Erica said to James. "The dragon that was in the forest in near the last city we were in appearantly followed us here." She said to Riou.

"Whats this about the Dragon?" Daniel chimed in finally summoning the courage to contribute.

 

[Random berk]

James lowered his rifle slightly and glanced around at Erica.
"Granted, I don't understand why it hasn't atacked yet. But just because you don't understand something doesn't mean you should assume its safe. I haven't shot that thing yet, and I won't until it gives me a reason, but I'm not gonna lay down my weapons and give it an opening either." As he turned, he also spotted Daniel and nodded.
"Dan. Long time no see. We saw that dragon again. It came up out of the lake, then ducked into the foliage. Keep an eye out, it could still be waiting in ambush."

Riou thinks, after a moment he speaks up. "Perhaps it is hungry? Or thirsty. This is the second time we have seen it near a lake, afterall. But are you sure it's the same dragon? There could be plenty in this world. There are countless dragons in my world." He looks at Daniel. "I don't think we've met."

Grace woke up and got dressed.

OoC: Fuck it, I wait around too much nowadays.

Makoto woke up. She sat up, yawning and stretching, then saw Grace getting dressed. She looked away to give her some privacy. "Morning."

"Hey James. Yeah I've been busy and I felt I needed to cool off after what things have been like around here." Daniel said, he seemed like his energy when he first joined the group had returned. "Shame, I wish I could see this Dragon."

 

[Chungus]

"Oh! Hello, Danny" Erica said to Daniel with a bright smile. "Maybe.
Caution can't hurt, I suppose." She said to James.

"Good morning Makoto. I was just going to go outside." Grace said to her with a pleasant smile.

 

[Random berk]

"No, it can't. Undue trust on the other hand, can kill." James replied to Erica before turning back to Daniel.
"I wish I knew what the hell it was all about. As far as I'm concerned, its damned dangerous having it around. A large predator like that, it might not be a maneater, but I don't like the idea of waiting to let it try. We should try and scare it off somehow."

"Hi Erica, sorry I went off for awhile." He said with an awkward smile. "Just felt I needed to get away from this and calm down."

Makoto stood. "I'll come with. See what the others are up too."

Grace nodded and walked out of the ship. She found herself drawn to the lake and walked that way.

"Everything should be given a chance, though. Think about it, if we were all distrustful, you wouldn't be here now.
Very little people would, given the fact that half of us drop out of the sky. Sometimes literally." Erica said to James, then turned to Daniel again.
"Hey, no worries. I know well enough how hetic things can get here.
Good to have you back, though!"
