OoC: @Saltyk Seriously, don't. Micheal Bay is just a symbol of everything wrong with the media industry. ...Ok, thinking about it, that title would actually go to Chris Brown, but Bay comes in a close second.
@Rosh Maybe for Winter... how about the person that voiced Parasoul?

@Kirke: Its was never all mechs mind you, there were normal soldiers on the ground. Where he got them from... That's plot sensitive. Axel would have said something about it, but then he died.

OoC: @Rosh That brings the question, where are the bloody militaries? Instead IS pilots are defending the cities, without even having been invented in this universe.

OoC: @Rosh What can I say? It's a gift.
@Gear Relax. I was just teasing you. I don't really care, but I do hear he's actually a decent guy. Apparently, he uses the same workers all the time and is concerned for their well being. At least, that was his explanation for Transformers 2.

@Kirke: The militaries in the threads have NEVER been greatly effective. [sub]For some odd reason[/sub] Pretty much handwaved much like everything else.
@Gear: ... Yes, that works. Greatly. Thank you ^_^
@Ven: Give people hope.

OoC: @Rosh No problem. I helped someone out and I got to raise awarness for an inde game, so a good day so far.
@Saltyk Didn't Megan Fox once call him a cinematic Hitler or something? Granted, I hate Megan Fox too, but Bay's the more important target.

On a side note, I'm just glad no members of Team Breezy are reading this, otherwise they'd jump on me for that Chris Brown comment.

OoC: I really want that military group @Outis was talking about... Also, Dio is gonna be wrecked when he hears about the deaths.

OOC: Hope won't comfort widows, feed orphans or bring the dead back to life. Hope won't defeat legions of mechs. What's there to hope for? Rebuild every city on the planet? Hope is probably the worst thing to give the dishevelled masses aside from cancer or something. Its worth nothing, the wooden spoon if you will.

Winter and Amy have completely patched up Four's ship. Yay.

Austin had finished the hot sauce and garbage plates. He grabs three, one of which was aided by Clicky, and walks outside. The smell of it lingers in the ship and reaches Makoto/Grace's room. Its delicious.

@Kirke: Well, its about damned time we actually did just play as regular soldiers every once in awhile.
@Ven: Then you understand what William is going to be trying to do...

OoC: @Ven Wow... you've never played ME3 or read World War Z, have you? Hope is the most important thing. Yeah, it's a lie sometimes, but it keeps people going.

OoC: @Gear I honestly don't care enough to know. Mega Fox is eye candy and that's about it.
@Rosh I thought he was trying to get the heroes to defeat the villains.

Makoto was asleep, but the smell began to wake her up. She sat up sluggishly, yawning.

OoC: I think the closest any of us has come to playing a normal soldier and not dying right away is Laguna.

@ALL: A quote from The Dark Knight Rises...

Home, where I learned the truth about despair, as will you. There's a reason why this prison is the worst hell on earth... Hope. Every man who has ventured here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy... So simple... Many have died trying. I learned here that there can be no true despair without hope.

-Bane

@Salty: He does... By using the most harshest of methods possible.

OoC: I wont be here to see much of this plot anyway, so I suppose it doesn't really matter to me.

OOC: @Gear I've played all Mass Effect games. Suprisingly I play paragon all the way through. Because in the context of that verse talking and being a general good guy actually pays off. It all depends on context, what verse we're talking about. Here and now everything that anyone ever called home is wrecked, they have nothing but their lives and a few characters they don't even know about are their only hope. How can you hope for something that doesn't exist?

I'm not miserable all the time it just depends what verse I'm taking into account for the situation. I have 40k characters so I take the 40k viewpoint...you can hope all you want but that Liberation fleet is still two weeks away but then SUDDENLY SPESS MEHREENS and then they turn the tide, throwing back the hordes and such. Thats the hope I like. The silent hope that everyone has, they don't need to be given any they have to feel it themselves or it won't be worth anything.

@Ven: considering that most places the group goes, they become know enough. Plus I'm sure the Brasilisa Incident would have put our characters somewhere on the map...

OOC: Turning to Batman for philisophical quotes can never end well. The film is amazing but makes the other two redundant and as usual Batman is shadowed by the villain. Willpower and determination, not hope that you will somehow survive. Death comes and we turn around and say "Not today"
