"Thanks Joe! Winter made it for me. She made one for just about everyone really." Four answered Joe.

Gerry went to Asha's room and Grace went to her own. "I assume you heard that announcement?" she asked Makoto. "Oh, and here." she added as she handed Makoto the suit.

"Sorry, that was just an argument with a unpleasant fellow." Jowy replied. "Who is Pilika..?"
Jowy seems to think for a minute. "Do you remember when I told you that Luca Blight attacked the Highland Youth Brigade to initiate a war?"

Makoto sat up on her bed, taking the suit, slowly and silently.

@Slenn: Kinda like the shenanigans with water that it is blue because of the second harmonic of the wavelength of light going through water corresponds to blue and thus only large bodies of water will look blue but shallow puddles are clear. Neat. And this also means that some of Joe's powers won't work with that then since he can't use other colours as well as he can use green.

Asha felt a little uneasy about where her conversation with Jowy might be headed. "Yeah, I remember you mentioning that."

@Fury: Unfortunately no, Nailik hasn't come back yet since he left almost 8 hours ago.

OOC: @Zeph. The water phenomenon works on a different principle than the doppler effect, like you've acknowledged. And it's also a light phenomenon, as you've indicated. Can you elaborate why some of Joe's powers are disabled?"

"...Would you like me to change in the bathroom?" Grace asked, wondering why Makoto had not said anything.

Gerry tried on his suit and found he found if rather comfortable.

Joe pokes the suit at Four's arm. "Wow it feels weird. So everyone is getting one? I guess that doesn't include me does it..." Joe said a little saddened.

@Slenn: So in WAOA2 there was one time that Joe tried to use the colour red instead of green for his energy sword. Although he was able to form a sword out of it, it shattered after just one use. Joe just innately uses the colour green for energy stuff, so a colour shift would alter the colour which would mess with how powerful his energy based attacks are I guess.

"Well, Riou and I were members of the Youth Brigade. That was our first encounter with Luca, the Mad Prince of Highland. To escape, we jumped off a cliff into the river below. Riou ended up meeting a mercenary named Viktor and I was taken in by a kind family who looked over a small shrine. Pilika was their daughter. She was only about 10 years old and took to calling me 'Uncle Jowy'." He begins to explain.

"Oh, no, please Makoto. What happened before was my fault entirely. I was not thinking you see." Grace said to Makoto.

OOC: @Zeph. So then, maybe... could he just start from ultraviolet and then violet and so on? Also the cloaking device blue-shifts your visible light rays into ultraviolet at a small radius away from the person. This allows the user to see him/herself while still being invisible to other people.

Four leaned down and pat Joe on the shoulder. "I'm sure would have made one for you if she could. I just honestly don't see how she possibly could. Sorry."

Asha diligently listened to Jowy, nodding her head and saying, "I see." She assumed there was more, so she waited for Jowy to continue.

"Well, after Riou and I reunited, and found that we couldn't return to Highland, having been named spies by Luca and our former Captain Rowd, we eventually went to Pilika's home. After dinner, Pilika asked Riou and I to go to the capital city of Muse and buy a wooden Amulet she saw there for her father's birthday. Of course, we did, but when we returned, the village had been ransacked by Luca and burnt to the ground. The sole survivor was Pilika, and she had already seen her parent's dead bodies." Jowy continued.

"It's ok..." Joe shrugged as he was a little disappointed, but knew full well that Four was right and for good reason. "I don't need a stealth suit anyways... maybe I'll go ask Asha to draw me a hat or something." Joe suggested.

@Slenn: True.

"No... no, it's my fault. I brought this up. Maybe... maybe it wasn't such a good idea. I'm sorry for dragging into this whole thing, I'm sorry for going through with it, I'm... sorry for not being able to help you with... whatever it is that's haunting you." Makoto stood, picked up her NOL overcoat, spread it on the floor it next to the bed, and laid down on it. "You can sleep alone tonight."
