Cloud rides up to the others, seeing that they freed Jean. "You found her. Good. Look what I found." He holds up the note and the translation key.

"Ah, what could this be?"
Samus took a look at the note. She scanned it with her visor.

Terra had been silent, not wanting to get involved in the conflict. Upon hearing Axel though, she had a thought. "We're flying... right? Won't using explosives in here make the airship drop out of the sky...?' she asked Long Fang with a worried tone.

Nova turned to Karl as her Aurora-1 armor dematerialized and Nova collapsed to her knees, in a coughing fit. She covered her mouth.

"She... Was captured..."

Twilight glanced at the translation key. "What is it?"

Jean crouched next to Nova and asked what was wrong.

"Haven't a clue, but there is also a letter..." Cloud takes this time to read it.

 

[Slenn]

"It's a translation key to the tablets we found. The language identifies itself as from the elder gods. My visor now is able to translate the tablets in its scans." Samus explained to Twilight.

 

[Berithil]

Twilight raised an eyebrow. "Elder gods? This just keeps getting better doesn't it. Judging by the whole 'blood sacrifice' thing, I'm gonna guess the 'elder gods' aren't the friendliest bunch."

Long fang sighed at his insolence. "I doubt you'd understand the concept of honor you seem to wish to abuse. And I'm not fool enough to let you evoke my honor in the hope that I'll let you fight me. This isn't about just me any more. I need to ensure their survival." He removed his laser disc and aimed it to lop off Banes legs. "And just to let you know, even if you had submitted, I would have killed you. And the mines are strong enough to tear you apart, they've been shaped to ensure that whoever sets them off recieves as much of the explosion as possible. And the ships armour can take a few simple explosions."
