"Okay, that was definitely 'better'." Axel conceded as he rubbed the bruised spot on his head where 'Nova' had smacked him. He breathed a sigh of relief when Kanji's shield managed to save him from a few more hits. Then Kanji's shield faded, forcing him to front flip over the plasma bolt, though it did singe his coat-tails, which he was greatly displeased by. All that armor and they forgot to cover up the torso...not that I'm complaining. He waited to see how Tao's attacks landed, then charged at 'Nova', lacing his fingers together into one larger fist and bringing it down on her back with the force of a jack-hammer.

 

[Chungus]

"All the secrets... And now we're suposed to get this book for him?" Terra replied. She also wondered what Thanatos would do once the book was returned, not convinced by his explaination, but kept that to herself.

 

[Saltyk]

Cloud twists in mid air and slashes at the Blizzara ice spell cutting it in two, but still taking damage from it that knocks him back to ground. Instead of trying to prevent the fall, he uses the force of the fall and gravity to fuel his own attack, coming down with another slash on one of the mecha's wings.

Zack uses the Buster Sword to block the attack. The result is that it knocks him back and off his feet, but he catches himself with his left hand and flips back landing on his feet. He smiles. "Nice power. I guess I'll have to show you my own."
He holds the blade up next to his face, horizontal to the ground. He charges the figure and begins to unleash a series of slashes at the mech's extremities and then leaps into the air and comes down with a single powerful strike.

OoC: Cloud using a normal slash and Zack using his version of Octaslash striking for the mech not the pilot.

 

[Wackymon]

Scout smiles, and firsts brings out two cans, one of Bonk and one of Crit-a-cola.
"I use these soda's to either make me invincible, or have my shots have more of an impact."
She brings out a Force of nature, a shortstop, and a baby-face blaster, and lists what they do in order:
"This one shoots twice as many bullets, and knocks folks back, this one is a pistol, works at medium range, and this one causes me to go faster if I cause more damage." She said.
She brings out the rest of her weapons, and tells him what they do.
"And this is the mad milk, I throw it on folks, so when they're hurt, I get healed up.

OoC: Basically, she listed all the scout weapons, and what they do.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well to get some oh so delicious brownie points, I guess I will have to return this garbage to the clumsy girl... I'll have to see how I can use what little information was in there..." Karl sighed as he got up from the chair, but didn't go straight outside, waiting for the fighting to die down first.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well...you can't really blame a god for being secretive...And really, everyone on earth is dead. What more could my master do?" Jean countered.

 

[CmmdrRosh99]

The clone detracts one of the wings from her body as it interrupts the two Ice Spears, the bomb and the 3 jars. The wing is blown to hell and shattered.

The escaping Ice Spear impales the clones stomach. She quickly melts the ice spear, but then blood starts gushing out of the wound. Axel punches through the hole to be even bigger as it his hand is now covered in crimson blood. She turns around and kicks Axel like an uppercut, sending him away.

Due to that action, Cloud clocks the clone upside the head, shattering the right side of the helmet, and cutting her head alittle as well. She is slammed into the ground just as Zack's attack connects to hit a good amount of the legs of the clone's armor and Cloud due to misfortune.

Battered and bleeding out, the clone attempts to crawl away and fires several plasma bolts at Kalin.

Kill or strain the clone? Or let her bleed out... In three turns as usual.

[Random berk]

Jacques looked utterly perplexed by the things that Scout showed him.
"I have seen men imbibe certain substances like this to make them more agressive or stronger in battle." He said, pointing at the can of Bonk. "But it affects their minds, and causes their bodies to wither as well. As for the other, that doesn't even make sense to me, unless you mean it somehow allows you to concentrate and aim your shots more effectively." He had less to say about the rest of the weapons, having already seen the major advancements between his guns and her own. When she described the mad milk, he just stared at her in total incomprehension.

 

[Slenn]

"Don't kill her, just subdue her!" She fires a few shots with her Ice Beam and fires at Nova, hoping to encase her in ice and freeze her.

 

[Wackymon]

Scout shrugged, "I've drunk Bonk! For most of my life, I'm not hurt. And, Eh, I don't understand it either. I throw the milk on folks, hit them on the head with the fish, and BAM I'm healing myself of most of the damage I got." She said.
"You'd have better luck asking Engineer how most of this shit works, because I can't wrap my head around it."

 

[Outisakanobody]

Battered and bleeding out, the clone attempts to crawl away and fires several plasma bolts at Kalin.

[Demonjazz]

Kalin dodges a couple of the bolts and the rest are stopped by his shield. He couldn't bring himself to see the person dying like this. He killed many people actually but he couldn't bring himself to kill this person. He walked next to her

 

[Furioso]

Kanji leaps back over the shop window, and yells "Hey whats the plan? You think we can restrain her?" He begins running towards Nova, making sure to stick to any cover he sees

[Chungus]

"Who knows?" Terra replied. Although she could think thing that would make matters worse, she didn't feel like explaining herself. "The point is, he can't get the book himself, and sends us to do it for him. So I'm still being used... I'm always being used..."

"Well...you don't have to help him. I'm sure he would send you home, even if you don't help him. He's not the spiteful sort you know." Jean said.

The clone's wings struggle and eventually cover for the Ice Beam attack, as it freezes the wing, making it immobilized.

The clone seeing that everybody is surrounding her, starts randomly spraying plasma bolts in all directions, flailing around and losing blood.

Group 2, GO! And 2 turns until bleed out....

Terra shakes her head slightly. "I don't believe that."

"Why would I lie to you?" Jean asked.

 

[Random berk]

Jacques just smiled and nodded.
"If I meet an engineer, I will be sure to ask him." He replied. "Thank you for showing me those. I am afraid that I do not have much of interest to show you in return. You have already seen my musket and pistol." His face brightened slightly.
"Although there is this." He drew his rapier with a flourish. It was a beautiful piece of work with a long, tapering blade, edged on both sides, and a sturdy handle bound in fine black leather and encased in a brass swept basket hilt. Though the weapon was polished and gleaming, the blade had scratches suggesting that it had had a number of notches ground out of it with a whetstone over time.
"This blade is over a hundred years old." Jacques said with obvious pleasure. "It has seen me through countless battles, and duels. The men of Europe tremble at the sight of it, and the ladies swoon." He grinned and chuckled slightly.
