"This one was custom designed." Jacques said, assuming a classic fencer's stance and advancing forward, taking a step back and then lunging, the tip of the blade darting forward faster than Scout's eye could follow. "These are mostly intended for thrusting attacks, but this sword was made with a slightly wider, heavier blade, and a sharper edge, specifically for the purpose of removing an enemy's head from his neck." He took a sharp step back and swiped the blade to one side like a sabre.
"Your comrade would never have had a weapon like this one, either for its design or its history." On hearing Scout's words he lowered the tip and turned to look back at her.
"Haunted? What do you mean haunted?" he asked incredulously.
