"I didn't... have much choice in the matter. I was born into it..." Terra said as she sat down against the hull of the ship, rubbing her arms more frantically. "Though... I wasn't considdered a soldier... more like a tool. A slave..."
"I have a similar background, though I was bred to be a soldier, with genetic engineering. A soldier for a goverment that I'm not a citizen of."
Scorch looked up in the air, and his tone had some anger in it.
"I was a high ranking knight... I think. That was not a consolation..." Terra said as she looked down at the ground, still rubbing her arms. When she heard Bane, she looked back up and glanced at him.
"No one ever called me by my name... The only reason I know what I'm called is because my name was etched on the door of my cell on the outside... I was always refered to as what I am... Never seen a a person..." Terra said to Bane with a low voice, looking down at the ground once more.
"My brothers gave me that name, not command. To them, I'm RC-1262 of Delta squad. I'm Scorch, yes. But every other soldier, be he trooper or ARC, has his own name. We all have brothers who'll remember us."
Varger idily floated around again. Fenris strolled along next to him and Nidhogg drifted beside him. He was out of earshot of everyone.
"Again you're preaching to the converted, we need to hurry up. I know this."
Nidhogg chimed in again after.
"What? That'll never work. If we choose the wrong one then its a waste and people will be suspicious."
Nidhogg grunted without a sound.
"I have my eye on a few."
