Jacques backstepped nimbly out of the way of the blade, but his evasive maneuvre brought him directly under the falling rocks. As he was pelted by cobbles and skulls he gritted his teeth, raised his pistol and snapped off two more shots, then an entire section of the ceiling crumbled, and buried him under a cascade of heavy boulders.

OoC: Cloud used Braver. And Zack used Dispel (I can't remember the animation for it in Crisis Core) which was his standard equipment when I explained his gear. And it should remove any protections this guy has.
I really wonder how @Drak feels about that.

Pretty much any character I chose will be way overpowered at times, and underpowered the rest. But will have to be nerfed anyway to be underpowered...

When Phoenix finally woke up, she noticed that everybody was gone. She was still in the store, having to fall asleep on the piles of clothing. She sighed.
Well, with Derek gone... I better... Exiting the building she materialized her armor again, flying off to Normandy.

Shorting from her trip, Phoenix had found the desecrated remains of Nova, just as Derek had left her. Phoenix closed her eyes and silently started piecing Nova's corpse back together. Completing her task, Phoenix gently touched her cheeks, brushing away the dust that silently collected on her face.

Phoenix's eyes dulled to a green color instead of her usual blue. For a split second, Phoenix's eyes also shifted dark orange. Completing the transfer, she left a homing beacon back home as Nova was engulfed by a Void portal. Rest in peace Sister....
Seeing that her task was complete, Phoenix deployed her armor again and flew back to Paris.

Jin had continued practicing with Ookami, creating new styles of using the blade and naming and renaming certain techniques. A whirlwind of roses appeared behind him as the Princess Vampire, Rachel Alucard, stepped out sighing.
"You do realize your not completing the task at hand, correct?"
"Of course I do. But I believe that these people here are competent enough."
"And you haven't bothered to find them?"
"I don't really care about them, Rabbit. I'm just doing what you told me to do."
Rachel rolled her eyes as she disappeared and Jin continued practicing.
