With the help of Scout, Kanji and the Persona, Jacques dragged himself out of the rockslide, hastily checked that his sword was undamaged and his pistols were all accounted for, then jammed his battered hat back on his head.
"Merci, mes amis. On y va!" He shouted, and ran with them for the exit. Long Fang who had waited impatiently at the end of the passage, turned and followed them as soon as they had passed.

"Foolishness! That is what happened!" The dark voice said as she fixed her purple eye on Phoenix. "This one is merely out cold, yet the name Axel is dead and I doubt Crystal will take that news well!"

OOC: @Wacky Forget it. The persona dug Jacques out, amazingly he was still alive and relatively unhurt, everyone was astounded, but now they're running for their lives.

A keen observer would note that Kanji has some cuts on his face, one on his hand, none appear to bleed. As Kanji exits the tunnel he says "Oh thank God we survived... wait, where are we?"

Jacques was struggling for breath as they made it up out of the tunnels. His steel cuirass had a massive dent in the centre that pressed in on his ribcage, and he struggled with the ties before releasing it and leting it clatter to the ground.
"Damn it. That was an expensive piece of work." He said ruefully.

OoC: @trty, group got split into 2 at the catacombs, one group met Joseph, who tricked Axel into asking the book a question, which then turned him to dust, other group fought Knight and managed to dent his helmet. Crystal went nuts and stabbed Joseph, who vanished along with Knight. Now group 1 found its way back to the city, group 2 is somewhere else
