OoC: @Slenn group got split into 2 at the catacombs, one group met Joseph, who tricked Axel into asking the book a question, which then turned him to dust, other group fought Knight and managed to dent his helmet, crystal had some powerful thing take over her and she stabbed Joseph, who vanished along with the Knight, group 1 is at the ships, group 2 is somewhere else, so you're probably at the ship

Jacques's worried expression became an irritated frown when he saw the bat in Scout's hands, and he met her gaze with unflinching eyes.

Jacques watched Scout go as she stepped around him and sauntered off. At any other time her belligerent attitude would have amused and interested him, but now he was worried. He had been in this same situation often enough in the past, and it had not always turned out well. He glanced at Kanji as he spoke, surprised that the man was apparently so unfazed by what had happened.
"You go on ahead." Jacques replied after a minute. "I need to take some time to think. The walk back will be good for that."
