"Invincible? Far from it. With my full Fusion sword I managed to damage him. Next time, I'll finish the job." Cloud interjected upon hearing Phoenix discuss the knight.

"That's right. No one and nothing is invincible. If Cloud can't take him, you bet I'll deal with him." Zack added with a grin.

 

[Furioso]

"Alright" said Kanji. As he was walking away he called back "If you ever want to talk about it, talk to me" As he walked, Kanji thought "There's no way that was luck, that guy probably isn't human. He should embrace whatever he is, be proud of it, but I won't force it..."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Oh it's fine...And...I am sure my master is working on it..." Jean said.

 

[Random berk]

Jacques bowed his head in silent assent, and as Kanji walked off, he too began to walk, pacing slowly in the fading light of dusk.

OOC: Right, I'm out.

 

[Slenn]

Samus scanned the robot, seeing how it didn't do much when she asked it something. She scanned it over for machinery and tools.

Phoenix didn't respond to Cloud or Zack. Her mood uncertain. Why did I suddenly snap at her? It wasn't her fault or anthing... Could this be from..? No. I refuse to believe that. She turned back to Jean, and lets out a weak smile.

"Th-thanks Jean... [sub]I guess...[/sub]"

 

[Furioso]

After a while, Kanji eventually reached the ships, as soon as he did he yelled out "...Hey! Is that medic around?" Kanji is now limping

 

[Saltyk]

"What's the matter with you?" Cloud asked crossing his arms.

Zack walks around until he finds Samus. "Hey, what's up?"

 

[Slenn]

A 3D rotating image of MALCO appeared in Samus' visor when she completed the scan.

<color=gray>"Engraved in Log Book."

Subject: MALCO. Industrial Demolition Robot. Scratches around the head indicate that the robot was recently battered and repaired. The robot's electric speaker is broken and no longer receives power, making it unable to speak. Several weapons of variety are contained within the robot as well.

OOC: Oh, by the way Sable. I'm glad someone picked a Cave Story character.

"It's going all right. I was working on tuning my suit to be a Gravity Suit, but when I went to sleep my stasis bed malfunctioned and forgot to wake me up."

ooc: @Slenn You're welcome I guess? I've played through most of it, and I though it was fun. Also bought Cave Story + on Steam. I PM'ed you with the weapons I gave him. Coincidentally, those are the weapons I use the most.

OOC: @Sable. No I'm just saying 'Oh cool! Someone picked a Cave Story character.' It's pretty good, but don't attempt the hell run at the end if you just started.

Jean gave Phoenix a weak smile.

 

[Saltyk]

"Yeah, I was wondering where you were all day. You slept the whole thing away. I almost thought you were avoiding me." Zack says with a wink before he looks over and sees Kanji. "Hey, come over here."

OoC: @Furi Cloud was talking to Phoenix. I didn't even know your character was back yet.

 

[Slenn]

She laughed a little. "Zach, it's my fault for having technology that's acting up. I'm not avoiding you. I apologize."

Samus looked at the robot and studied it.
"Looks like you can't speak. I wonder if I could fix you. Course I'm used to working with Chozo technology."

 

[CmmdrRosh99]

"Nothing... Just... Wondering why I snapped all of a sudden..." Phoenix replied to Cloud, uncertainly riddled in her voice.

Turning back to Jean she sighs slightly. "Sooo... We just rest for now right?"

 

[Furioso]

Kanji makes his way over to Zack "Don't suppose you have any medical training? Kinda got cut up"

 

[Sablestick]

ooc: @Slenn I destroyed his vocal components for a reason.

Malco shakes his head, and offers his hand for Samus to shake

 

[Saltyk]

"Snapped? Snapped how?" Cloud asked.
Sephiroth snapped. Kadajj snapped. Even I snapped. Could she be dangerous, even now?

"Hold that thought, Samus." Zack holds up one finger, and then pulls out a small green crystal. And holds it towards Kanji. "I got one better." Green energy surrounds Kanji and heals his injuries. Zack puts the crystal away. "Cura materia. Never leave home without it."
He looks back to Samus. "Oh, I know you weren't."
