Jacques rolled his head, his neck clicking, and he grinned sheepishly at Scout and Kanji.
"I am just lucky, I suppose?" he said rather unconvincingly. "God's influence, no doubt?"
OOC: Hey there guys. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to participate, but as I've warned for myself and you guys my schedule is going to get crazy. The entirety of today was nothing but work from dawn till now.
"That wasn't luck! That was more like divine intervention... ah well, good to see your alright" "I've never seen so much luck!" "This one is more than human too? This group is far stranger than I thought, this will certainly be interesting..."
Jacques grinned at Scout's actions.
"Who'd have thought removing one piece of armour would have such an effect?" He chuckled. "Not to sound like I'm complaining, but what are you doing?" He nodded to Kanji.
"As I'm sure it was. Merci, mon ami."
As this went on, Long Fang ascended to the roofs to see how far from the ship they had come out.
Scout stopped as she realized she didn't have what she was looking for.
"Well, you don't have a canteen." She said, "So I don't think you were ubercharged. Tell me, what did you do? Magic stuff?"
Jacques shrugged.
"Like I said, it must simply have been good fortune. The rocks must have fallen in such a way that I was not crushed beneath them." He said, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly with one hand.
