@Gear: It served a point... To make sure idiot characters repent slightly, which everybody seems to forget now anyways (Death barely constraints anybody nowadays... >_>)

That's why I'm slightly upset that nobody is actually questioning that whole "She's just a clone, its not really Nova, no matter what"... Or "You will never be anybody else. You're just a doll, a doll." types of conversations.

Its these types of emotions that I try to bring up of characters... But nobody seems to see it... Ah well, not my concern.

"Still..." Terra said to Jacques as she took off his cloak again and held it out to him. "You should take this back... I can use my magic to keep me somewhat warm... You can't." looking back at Long Fang, she smiled slightly. "Seems that way."

OoC: @Gear, everyone already made a big thing out of her death, best not to bring it back up

Kanji managed to find a clothing store and began to rummage around, looking for warmer clothes for the group

OoC: @Rosh My character hasn't actually met yours yet, and as such can't react. I can only imagine his hurt and hope at seeing you, thinking of you as a clan member. But somehow our characters haven't been in a room together, and so we haven't gotten a 'oh hey, you look alot like this person who died, you're a clone of them, what?'

OoC: @Rosh ...from a narrative perspective, what I'm seeing is a character I like get killed abruptly and painfully in a slow moment for no in story, narrative reason, then another character who's the same in almost every way brought in for no real reason other than to keep some part of the original one around. Which begs the question, WHY KILL THE FIRST ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! If you wanted characters to learn and grow, then FUCKING TALK TO THEM! Don't make an annoying, wieghtless death to strenghten your argument. That's the kind of hack writing I'd expect from L Ron fucking Hubbard!

Jacques's jaw tensed at the condescending manner in which Long Fang spoke.
"I have sailed many waters, in all kinds of conditions." He said evenly, staring at Long Fang with unblinking eyes. "What more is there to tell?"

"If you're sure..." Terra remarked, slightly uncomfortable. She flung the cloak over her shoulders, fastened the chain and wrapped it around herself. Where she was uncomfortable just a moment ago, her mood was lifted again when a thought occured to her. Turning back to Crystal, she gave a small nod. "We don't really need to do it anymore... But it can't hurt."

Would be good things to tell the young ones thinking that they can handle anything that the world tosses at them." Long fang shrugs at Terra. "I suppose eventually we'll get a third ship from somebody, even if its one that sails the water, not the stars. Then we can wreck that and have the other two working for a bit."
