OoC: @Kirke Actaully, S-III's are light years ahead of S-II's in terms of augmentation. It's just their armour is way, way worse. Give an S-III some S-II MJOLNIR armour, and they're a lighting fast walking tank.

Replacements for the Dead (Lets be honest here. Winter isn't immortal and the higher ups want super soldiers like her. Not as expensive as Vanguards or Wardens, and yet are Vanguard/Warden killers)
People in their own rights (Nova and Phoenix do talk about them being just dolls, a deterrent to be thrown away once the next deterrent has appeared)

OoC: @Beri, I don't remember the last time you were here, so, We arrived in Volgograd and were attacked by about 100 tanks with undead crews, after their defeat, Than told us that he had been tricked. Joseph is not in Volgograd, he is in St. Petersburg, and may be getting stronger. Now some of us are trying to fix Samus' ship (Which has a hole in it)

OoC: @Gear Yes, but less training. They are much younger than S-II's, and in Halo: Reach they are shown to not be very much more effective than S-II's, even with Mk.5 MJOLNIR armour. On top of that, they are of worse genetical quality than S-II's, who were chosen from a very limited amount of people.

"Thank you Jeans lady" She said to Jean's compliment. "Tao just wears her underwear under this Meow!" She added with a smile.
Terra let her hands drop to her side and let out a deep sigh when Crystal finished the welding. When she heard Long Fang, her sigh awkwardly shifted into a groan. "It would've been nice to know that earlier... This was extremely taxing..." She nodded slightly in responce to Crystal's enthusiasm.
