SOLDIER was made to be the greatest military force out there, and I was one of the strongest. It would be a nice match."
"Well it's not like I'm scared of that monster stealing any of it. Besides, even if whatever-his-name-is has the stones to try and cheat me, I've dealt with back-stabbers before. He won't get far." Etna said with a chuckle. "And I've got a lot of prinnies because I used to live in a big enough castle that you'd need that many to keep it up."
One of the prinnies noticed Jean walking into the ship. It followed her out of curiosity and found her cuddled up next to Tao. Then it pulled a camera out of its pocket and started taking pictures.

Jean heard the snapping of photos and sat upright, almost seeming sleepy. "Excuse me, what are you doing?" she asked in a somewhat annoyed tone.

Only a few she knew exactly... Other clones were... they died before she ever got the chance to know them. And a few got passed her radar knowing by higher ups."

"Yeah..."Honorable guys are fun, way easier to take advantage of than someone who doesn't care about the rules. Etna simply replied. "Anyway, what's so bad about mansions? That's like, my second-most preferred place I'd want to live."

Jean considered chasing after the little creature, but decided against it. Instead she just laid back down, pondering how heavy a sleeper Tao seemed to be.
"In my experience, bad things always happen in mansions. I'd prefer to avoid them." Cloud explains.
Zack shakes his head. "That's all over my head. I was always more of the break through and defeat the enemy directly type, though. Of course that seems to be true of every SOLDIER Operative. Sephiroth, Genesis, even Angeal." He places his hand on the hilt of his sword. "As for the big sword thing, I never go anywhere without my 'honor and dreams'. Cloud seems to have become a good legacy of mine, though." He pauses for a moment.

People were threatening Company GreyFox as a whole (She created this during the war) Proxy wars and full length wars started up again after the Crusader's were finished (Though a few strands still exist here and there.) People wanted alternatives to fighting. Winter was originally against the cloning, but when push comes to shove, her genetic template built by the Crusaders, meaning less or more perfect. She ensured that her 'daughters' persay would survive in a world full of battles. Remember that a few things did get under her radar of knowing, such as Phoenix. She had no idea of her existence. Peace is only found for the lucky few, or the dead.
Remember how I said that Vanguards/Wardens were deconstructed and then reconstructed? Same deal. The end justifies the means.
But now to settle the whole 'clones' thing. Because real human life was heavily taxed during the war. Artificial human life was brought up as a topic to be used as tools... Do people accept that? No. Do people still do it anyways? Yes.

@Drak: People lie, people cheat, people do hurtful things. Evil is just pain. Plus, he's one of the few that actually know what they are doing. The secret to cloning, as it was usually seen as 'taboo' for the public, is hidden behind secrets and even more secrets. The public should never know about it. Also, He does it... Because he can.

"Th-thanks Jean..." She curled herself up to Tao and Jean and slowly fell asleep.
@Drak: Because he also wanted to kill Winter with her own creations, which seems more satisfying... He's not not a dumbass cause he wouldn't stand much against a Super Soldier Killer, a SS (Super Soldier) who is married to said SSK (Super Soldier Killer). The SSK's apprentice and his SS wife. And two other SSK's that are not as good as the leader but come pretty close.

Winter only when back the first time because without her in the timeline of the Vanguards, Company GreyFox wouldn't exist, and several main events would have been drastically changed.
