We Are Our Avatars IV (Uh, closed for real now)

Jacques looked back to where Scorch had called to him, then groaned as the commando called the group to arms.
"Ah... no. Not really." He said to Terra as he turned to see the approaching soldiers with a weary, forced grin on his face.

 

[Kirke]

"I was under the impression that no living beings were left on this planet."
Scorch said cautiosly, holding his decce with both hands, but no pointed at anyone.

 

[Chungus]

"That's... understandable. If things go badly here, you might want to sit this one out." Terra said to Jacques, then turned to the man recently identefiable as Roran. "Escapee?"

 

[Furioso]

Raven continued to hide, he kept his hands on his bow

Some of other soldiers continued whispering among themselves, but quieted down once Roran started speaking again. Roran took out a scroll with a well drawn picture of a woman in heavy armor. A symbol of a dragon's head was em-blazed on her shield, with a familiar looking axes on her back. It was Katrina, though there was a fierce look on her face.

"Yes. A powerful DragonLord, goes by the name Katrina Banks? Our orders are to take her into custody for crimes of Mana-Wielders and such. Her brother and my superior, Ethan Banks, issued this order."

Aww... Fuck... Great. Katrina thought, seeing that the Rose followed her here. And just when things were going up...

Crystal strolls out the ship, still yawning a bit as she sees Roran. "What's going...*yawn*.. She asked in a drowsy tone.

 

[Random berk]

"I think I can fight." Jacques said, his guns still in his hands. As he said so he turned to looke back at the soldiers that had appeared. "I should. Maybe it will drive the images, the memories out of my head." His face was drawn and had a dangerous, almost unstable look to it, as though he was fighting a battle to keep contol of himself.

 

[Kirke]

"I don't think you have any authority here."
Scorch said simply, while making sure his helmet was nearby.

 

[Chungus]

Terra walked closer to Roran to get a closer look at the scroll. "Hmm. No. Sorry. I've never seen her before." she eventually replied, taking a step back. Terra spoke the truth on the matter, as she had not met Katrina. Turning back to Jacques, she said, "Really... I think you should rest some more..."

 

[Furioso]

Behind his cover, Raven smiled "Good answer" he thought

Roran ignored Scorch and listened to Terra. Though Terra does use magic, her sword at her side didn't really indicate that she did. He turned to Crystal stepping out as well, but seeing that she wasn't in her witches garb, didn't say anything as well.

"Hmm. I see. Well then, have a pleasant day. And beware of the magic users though. They are quite... uncontrollable. Farewell then Adventurers."

Roran and his group disappeared back into the woods.

Katrina relaxed as she saw the soldiers disappear. Thank the Avatars...

 

[Chungus]

"Well... That was wierd." Terra remarked, sheathing her sword as she did.

 

[Furioso]

Raven walked out from his cover "A hunt for a fugitive? My old bones can't handle such excitement this early in the morning!" Said Raven

 

[Random berk]

Jacques closed his eyes and exhaled slowly as the soldiers disappeared. He hadn't taken his bandoliers from the room in the infirmary and so his pistols stayed in his hands, hanging loose.

Crystal rubbed her eyes and stood there for a moment. "Beware the magic users?" She repeated to herself. "I wonder If there were witch hunts....thank goodness for this dress..." She said happily, then sat down outside and leaned against the ship.

 

[Kirke]

Scorch chuckled and holstered his decce.
"They have a nasty suprise in for them once they realise there's not a single other bloke left on the planet!"

 

[Furioso]

Phoenix headed outside, with an apple in her hands.

Katrina hopped down from the ship's top and deeply sighed.
