That's why there's people of multiple ethniciteis in one country. Due to the sheer amout of time they've been there, discrimination between humans based on skin colour isn't really a big thing.

Terra stood up and silently excused herself from the awkward conversation between Jacques, Medic and the new arival. She walked away from the ship and saw Katrina nearly press her chest against Crystal's face. Feeling uncomfortable just seeing that, Terra hurriedly walked away further to Scorch and sat down against the boulder. Hearing Pyro, Terra wondered just what he was, not understanding there was a human under that mask.
