Jacques looked from Medic to Jania and back. He wasn't sure what he had done to rile them up so much, and so hestayed calm, waiting to find out the problem before he retaliated.
"Not much more than any person at all in this world." He replied to the Medic. "But she is the first we've seen. I didn't consider that we would see one because of that. What is the significance of that, exactly?" He turned to Jania.
"I said nothing other than that I did not expect to see one of your race turn up here-" He glanced over at the wall in the distance.
"In China, no less. That is all that I meant."
OOC: @Gear Yeah, but his immortality means that he tends to be a bit more liberal. Like he said before, the differences between black people, peasants and Lords, where any exist, are all erased by death after a fairly short tiem. Of course, he might still unwittingly engage in casual racism that wouldn't have been thought of at all in that time.
