Phoenix turned and walked over to Flonne. "Flonne... We can hope... That's what we can only do now... Even... Even if Jean still has the curse on her, we can still be here for her. That doesn't change fact. I'm going to stay by her side, no matter what. As is Crystal and Katrina. Will you too?"

Katrina sighed again, looking back at Jean and Than.

Sepulchure continued to watch. So... They are starting to embrace the hero... But how long and how far will they carry that title?

Emerald fired it's shoulder lasers at Knight again.

The group comes to the city, It was of the regular hustle and bustle city. Drakas left his cart outside the gates in a stable. There were many merchants shouting among the city. Some of the noticeable ones included "I can't take these pants they still have wolf guts in them"
"Why of course I buy old pieces of junk from goblins"
"Wait this piece of rust was a spear. I could have sworn it looked like a sword" A fireball came soaring over head Drakas ducked under it "Another guy turned out to be a sorcerer. and the tavern is over there" He pointed and walked into the place

OOC: @Salt: I'm really not understanding the point of contention between you and I on this, but oh well.

Knight planted his feet into the ground and tried to block the laser with his sword.

Jean looked like she was coming around again, as she was blinking more and her gaze did not look quite so distant.

Emerald began to charge once more. Knight would probably recognize it as the same thing it did before firing the Emerald Beam earlier.

OoC: @Outis Are you talking about the point of this fight? Or why I just couldn't get on with Knight embedding itself into a wound?

"Of course I'll stay by Miss Jean's side. And I'll hope, and then keep hoping 'til I can't hope, and then I'll hope some more! Together, our hope will be able to move mountains!" Flonne replied rather enthusiastically and over-dramatically, though she still had her back turned to everyone. "Um, is Miss Banks decent? Can I turn around now?" She nervously asked Phoenix.

"Seems kinda pointless. He pretty much offered you the ride for free." Etna replied to Raven, not bothering to keep her voice down. She heard that they had made it to their destination and hopped up, then back-flipped out of the cart as she had quite a bit of pent-up energy from not fighting anything all-day. She followed after Drakas without a word, hoping to get to the looting sooner rather than later.

 

[Furioso]

"Eh? He did?!" asked Raven as he followed after Etna and Drakas

"Hm? It seems Jean is waking up" said Mitsuru

Phoenix smiled at Flonne. "Thank you Flonne... And Katrina's decent, so turn around if you like."

Noticing Jean finally coming around she walked over to Jean and crouched down. "Jean... Are you ok???"

Katrina shook her head and sighed as Crystal walked over to her. "[sub]I'm not powerful enough...[/sub]" she muttered under her breathe.

Than left and Jean closer her eyes completely as her breathing slowed.

Knight went back to brutally hacking at Emeralds leg, trying to sever the things leg and make it unbalanced.

Emerald stumbled and fired off the Emerald Beam as it did.

Flonne sighed with relief and spun back around. She looked back down at Jean, her face betraying her incredible anxiousness. She noticed Katrina sigh and generally seem down. So she walked over to her. "There there, cheer up! I'm sure Miss Jean will be just fine soon."

"That's how I see it at least. And even if he didn't, he didn't say anything about it. You'd be amazed with how much people will let you get away with just because they're too afraid to speak up about it." Etna said to Raven as she kept on walking behind Drakas.

Crystal walked away to find a spot for the two of them to sleep. Katrina continued to look down and shake her head disapprovingly. "[sub]I'm... just not strong enough. Like my father before me... I... I failed.[/sub]"

Sepulchure makes no action to Katrina's words. Our paths... Are different my daughter...

Phoenix continued to say by Jean's side. Just like how you stayed with my sister... I'll stay right here as well.

 

[Demonjazz]

The tavern too was a regular tavern although if anyone was to order a drink it would be very poor quality. The food may or may not have been rat meat. Drakas sat next to a man mostly in furs. A flare was cast off on some other table spontaneously by the barbarian. There was a man next the furred figure. That man was smoking a pipe peacefully. He was in a ranger uniform with a short sword, bow, and a small vial of very bright glowing water "Why hello friends. We are going with the rebellion plan."
"Why as long as my axe is bloodied by the end I'm in" The man in furs said. The ranger nodded to Drakas

OOC: Well when you put it that way...

Knight was narrowly able to avoid the beam and started working on the other leg.

Jean only shifted slightly on the ground.

 

[Saltyk]

Emerald tried to punch at Knight and, once more, fired it's shoulder lasers at him.

OoC: Would you prefer it, if I said that my suspension of disbelief didn't hold up?

 

[Drakmorg]

"If it makes you feel any better I'm not strong enough either." Flonne said, trying to cheer up Katrina, though she ended up making herself feel sadder as well. "Anyway, I'm sure there's a way to fix Jean. There's always a way to fix stuff like this. Just because you can't do it yourself, doesn't mean you failed." She added, giving it another shot.

"Okay, so who are these guys?" Etna curiously asked as she stood near Drakas. Even sitting, Drakas would likely seem taller than Etna.

 

[Furioso]

Raven rubbed his chin and said "Hmm..." at hearing Etnas words
After being in the tavern for about 3 seconds, Raven left, saying "Ehhh I think I'll wait outside"

Mitsuru spoke to Katrina, but looked off into the distance "If you resign yourself to failure than that is all you will ever achieve. Nothing great has ever been achieved without overcoming trials and hardship."

Phoenix continued to stay by Jean's side.

"Flonne, Mitsuru... You two are alot stronger than I am. In many ways. Though I saw my father's fall from grace and swore never to follow his path after I regained my memories... Here I am, wielding a Necrotic weapon, similar to his own. I have the same tendencies as he did, protect. I take blame for myself for something I had nothing to do with. And with each burden I inflict upon myself, I only wish to find more power to protect and that ended with him nearly destroying our world. I'm not him, and I'm very much like him. Is this destiny, or fate's cruel joke?"

Knight began shoving on Emerald, trying to tip it over.

"[sub][sub]Wha...save who...?" Jean said softly.

"I am the greatest barbarian-sorcerer in the entire universe. Also probably the only too but that's not the point" Another spell was spontaneously cast off by the barbarian on the opposite table. The ranger puffed on his pipe a bit before talking "I am a ranger. I protect the forests of this area"
"Yes wench one beer for me and a water for the lady" The wench went off to get these drinks "These guys saved my farm a while back, I've been friends ever since. This is there regular tavern
