@Random: Jacques is pretty strong in my plot because all of the mooks are knights with no magical abilities. The only problem would come with Minibosses and bosses but even they rely on melee combat.

OOC: @Rosh I don't even mean that the characters are weak, but that they may already have something to be afraid of. For example, Jacques fear of the shadows in Long Fang's ship due to the nightmares from the facehugger incident.
"I..." Terra looked down at the ground, rather defeat. She knew what Phoenix was feeling, as she felt roughly the same way. "I know what you mean..." Terra wanted to argue with Phoenix, to prove her wrong. But she couldn't, as she herself did not believe kindness was ever genuine.
@Random: No, where Katrina is original from... A planet called Lore, but this specific region is shadowed... alot.
OOC: Right, well I don't mean he's actually afraid of the dark, but the darkness in Long Fang's ship specifically.
"Normality leads to death. Normals cannot exist in the world. You need to be abnormal, but not too abnormal." Phoenix replies, her voice breaking alittle bit from the montone. "Do you think this is how I enjoy what I am? I want to be human, but nobody treats me like that."
"Why though? Etna and Raven argued about me, Cloud is completely indifferent, Jean is off in la-la land, and Tao is gone. What makes me human?"
"What doesn't make you human?" Terra replied, looking back in the direction of Phoenix, but not looking directly at her. "What others think about you doesn't change what you are... Maybe you're... we're a wierd humans... but human none the less."
Flonne had spaced out, as she caught a glimpse of the space-ship again and just stared at it for a while. When she came to, she realized she no longer had any stake in the conversation, so she just stood by and listened quietly and politely for now.
"What defines 'human' Terra...?" Phoenix voice breaks slightly.

Jacques glanced up at the others as he worked, a good distance out of their way, then glanced down at the bowl of black powder he had been grinding. Running a finger through it he raised it to his mouth and licked it, before spitting the chemical on the ground and nodding in satisfaction. Sweeping it into a leather pouch he clipped it to his bandolier.
"Oh, you two should both stop worrying about what you are. I have no idea what I am, and it doesn't bug me one bit!" Flonne decided to jump into the conversation. "You should just enjoy life!" She noticed Jacques and gave him a friendly wave.
