OOC: @FPS Still on your ship.
In the corridors, Jacques turned to the stern of the ship. Flexing his hands at the grips of his weapons, he sighed as he mustered his nerve, then advanced.

OoC: Wait seriously? that's like a car speeding at 90 miles an hour hitting a steel wall. Jesus.

Long fang wandered around his ship, happy to know the Prinnies had finished repairing the vessel and they had all been trained in their various positions.

EDIT: Changed because no one appears to be outside anymore.

Demopan walks alongside Jacques, "Good day, 'lad." he said, seemingly fading into exsistance next to him.

The moment the demopan apeared, he found the barrel of Jacques's wheellock jammed under his chin. Jacques breathed a sigh of relief, then glared at him.
"You imbecile hautes terres, what do you mean by sneaking up on me in here?" He snapped, lowering the weapon.

"And you meant to amuse yourself by getting yourself shot?" Jacques grumbled, going back to watching the shadows as he advanced cautiously. "Where did you come from anyway?"

"I had, une mauvaise expérience in these halls. I don't wish to be caught unawares again." Jacques muttered as they progressed. Reaching a corner, he darted around it with weapons ready, but found only the entrance to the engine room in front of him.
"And here we are." He said to himself.

Long fang wandered into the corridor of the engine room, and heard Jacques actions. "What are you worried about?"

OoC @Outis: 'Ello.

"Thanks... I wonder why Crystal didn't heal you herself though... She was the one to bring you in after you were appearantly knocked out." Terra said as she stood up. "I also still don't get how she managed to carry you all on her own. I mean... she looks so tiny."

Jacques turned sharply on his heel at the sound of Long Fang's voice.
"Ah, Long Fang. I..." Jacques began to trail off, but then frowned and steeled himself, and when he spoke again, his voice was firmer and more self-assured.
"Ever since that thing attacked me down here, I have been ill at ease, asleep or awake. I won't stand for it any longer. The spear that you lent me is still here, and I aim to retrieve it, and by doing so either convince myself that those creatures have been scourged from the ship, or if they have not, then I shall finish the job."

Scorch shrugged, and looked at the armour lying on the ground.
"Fierfek... And I just washed it!"

"Hmm? Oh. That... does looks rather messy." Terra remarked, looking down at the armour also. "What does 'fierfek' mean?"

"Oh well that's understandable. Would you mind if I joined you? Better the demon you know at the back then the demon you don't right?" Long fang ran through his list of weapons. His combi staffs were still lying in Russia, but the smart disc and claws should be enough for this. "Do you want to head to the armory and get a full kit out first though?"

"No... no. If I'm going to do this, I'd like to get it over with. In any case, if any of them are still alive, they will not be as large as the Queen, will they? The blaster should suffice."

"Hopefully. Of course, if they've fed, there would be a problem, as they can take a bit of food and metabolize it quite efficiently. Don't suppose anyone's gone missing in a bit, have they?" Long fang flicked through the visors multiple options before settling on a frequency that detected density, the most reliable when it came to Hard meat.

"I don't think so." Jacques said, checking that the flash pan of the wheellock was filled with the freshly ground black powder and that the safety on the DC-15 blaster was off, before advancing into the engine room. "I have not heard of anyone, but there have been quite a few new arrivals. Maybe..."
