"We... We could go there... I-If you like... Though we might want ask Katrina about rules or something.." Phoenix grabs an extra amulet for Jean from the sleeping prinny guarding them.

Katrina takes out her Necrotic Blade as it glows a dim red color. This is the price of power... She fires a darkness ball into the sky as it expands... Then disappears.

OoC: @trty Nah. If I jump back in with Jania, I write badly and constatly ***** about wanting to change charater. If I change character, I have to think about a way to write Jania out, then try and introduce my new guy, and that'll probably take too long, and I'll want to switch again. If I stay OoC, I get really pissed off because I can't fucking do anything and I know I'm just dragging down the thread and annoying people. If I get banned and leave, I deprive myself of doing something I like and I don't get to share my ideas. No matter what I do, somene loses. Really, the only option where someone doesn't lose is if I throw myself out the window, prefferbly onto something pointy, but I'm too much of a coward to do that. Mark my words, I know exactly what'll happen. I'll ***** and moan, you guys try and get me out of it, I come out of it eventually but I insist it's too late to do anything, I keep on insisting that until it really is too late, then I try it for like five seconds and hate it, but then I want to do it the next day and it starts all over again. Happens every fucking time I try to do anything. I might as well just leave, to minimise the amount of people that get pissed off.

OOC: Anyway, where was I before I left? Oh, right. The schooner deck, and the hangover.

Jacques appeared on the deck of the schooner, squinting and shielding his eyes against the sunlight. His head hanging as though it was too heavy, he shuffled to the landward rail and hung over it, before slowly glancing up at peering dazedly at the camp.

Phoenix chuckled slightly, placing a hand on Jean's shoulder. "Relax. We aren't going there to go fight The Rose; I just want to explore this new town with people. And... I don't think you get in the way... I mean... A-a-as a friend, I'll protect and..." Phoenix didn't know what else to say.

Katrina's left gauntlet morphed into a DoomKnight gauntlet as she fired a darkness beam into the city beyond. A few things blew up.

Good... Gooooddd... Shut it.

Laying a leaden hand on the painter rig, Jaacques yanked the handle down and dropped the little boat into the shallows. Turning to see that Scout was still sleeping under the sail, he scrambled awkwardly over the rail and dropped to the painter, tumbling off his feet when he landed. Leaning over the side he splashed clean, lukewarm seawater on his face in an attempt to settle his pounding head before grabbing the oars and making his way to the shore and the camp.

"I...I-I guess you are right." Jean said, trying to smile brightly.

OOC: I am going to be leaving at some point today by the way.

@Outis: That's fine. Once again if the thread has nothing to do, I've already posted instructions for my plot due on Tuesday. I'm just going to say that Katrina tells everybody.

"Soo... How about it then?" Phoenix asked nicely.

@Gear: Why? Sure I can do some pretty nice stuff... Especially with the endings of this plot... It's could end with happiness, bittersweet or you just let an entire world die....

The water helped, at least to keep Jacques cool during the task of rowing the painter to shore. His course was comically winding and uncertain however. It took a lot longer than it should have before the prow wedged itself in the sand at the tidal zone, and he clambered out of the boat onto the sand to trudge up towards those in the camp who were awake.

OoC: @Rosh Well, you do good, dark plots with good pacing, nice setpeices, different kinds of storytelling, interesting characters... and frankly, your sub-plots often hog the thread for ages anyway, so might as well you drop the pretense.
