After eating a little less then half of the rhino's leg, the bug stopped eating away at it, realising that with the current amount of matter it could consume and the amount of time it needed to spent in its cocoon to process what it consumed, the rhino would probably rot to nothing before it would even be halfway finished with it.
Leaving the rhino for the time being, deciding to eat the hyenas first so they, at least, wouldn't go to waste, the bug moved to the first hyena it had shot, and who had now succumbed to the venom. Biting the hyena in small chunks, the grub gobbled them up, fur and bone included, and when finished, lapsed up what blood laid on the ground. After this, the bug moved to the second hyena it had shot, and did the same things. When done, the bug ate a little more from the rhino until it was full, where upon it picked up the rifle it claimed.
It didn't imediately leave to cocoon itself, however, having learned to use one caught prey as a lure to catch more. Attatching thick threads of webbing to the rhino cadaver at eight different locations, and attatching the other end on the ground a meter away, the bug laid the frame for a web, which it then filled out with a single thread that it spun across the frame, spiraling inwards until it reached the cadaver laying at the center.
When it finished building its web, the bug walked over to the spot where it had eaten the glued down and picked up the second rifle, taking out the clip and attatching it to the side of its own rifle with a thread of webbing. After this, the bug returned to the nearest tunnel it had dug, and cocooned itself.
