Tavish gave a silent "I'm watching you" gesture to the sectoid as he followed EMily.

@Wacky. You just said that it's following me. I'm on my couch in Ames, IA.

"Yes, all is found." She said to the sectoid.

She nodded to Vicky and smiled in thanks. She proceeded in the direction of the abandoned building.

After a short walk, the group would find a building with boarded up windows. The door, however, was slightly open.

EMily kept up her sense of electromagnetic fields, feeling around for anything metal or electronics.

EMily would sense a clump of metal in one of the rooms.

 

[Wackymon]

OoC: Sorry, just a bit absent-minded.

The sectoid began to look with it's eyes any and all people. If it found anyone it didn't know, it would immidiately try to take control.

"I could jus' blow up da whole place." Tavish suggested to the group.

The sectoid wouldn't see anyone else.

EMily built up some starting energy, and opened the nearest door. She crept inward.

"That is just about the stupidest goddamn idea you could possibly contribute at this moment in time."

Vicky replied to Tavish. She summoned her knife, put it in her right hand, then followed EMily inside.

EMily and Victoria would see a dark bag in the corner, which was the location of the metal EMily could sense. The only other thing in the room was a black cat with a white patch on its chest, wandering around and mewling softly.

"I don't get why ya don't want me blowin' things up. It ken help in all sorts a' ways, ya know."

[color=cc6699]"Not if the building falls down on our 'eads. Or if you kill our bounty."[/color] Riko said, holding her bass ready to play if needed.

EMily put her index finger to her mouth, indicating to Tavish that this was not the time for noise.

"There's something metallic inside the bag." She whispered.

"I'll check it out."

Vicky whispered back. She walked closer to the bag and examined it as much as she could.

"So?" Tavish responded to EMily. "Lass, I dunnae if you've noticed, but metal isn't all that hard to come by."

Victoria would find that the bag contained jewelry, watches and similar things. As Vicky examined the bag, the black cat watched her curiously.

 

[Slenn]

"Yeah, but a bag containing metal in the middle of an abandoned building sounds bizarre. Besides, I think Vicky found some very interesting metal."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Looks like a bunch of jewelry and stuff."

Vicky called back to the others.

"Dunno why they'd just leave this sitting here though."

The sectoid idly walked around the room they entered, and decided it would peer into the mind of the cat.
