EMily concentrated her power on Photon to create a repulsive shield ahead of the cat (done by locking gas molecules in the air) in an attempt to slow it down.

The cat stopped when it met EMily's shield, then turned around and meowed at her.

 

[Slenn]

EMily kept up a steady pace towards the cat.

"Your wavefunction squared tells me that you will not get out of this potential wall." She made another one on the other side of the cat. It was a pinch to create two ones, when she's created a shield around her whole body before.

"Please don't use that line again." Schrødinger said. "It reminds me of those days."

After having the medic overhead him a bit, Tavish put his finger over the detonator switch on his weapon. He let out a yell as he pressed the button, launching himself into the air, far above any buildings that may be around. If someone looked up, they would see him soaring overhead straight at the cat, boots on fire and bottle in hand.

The black woman started walking up to EMily and the cat.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

The cat just stared blankly at EMily. [color=a52a2a]"Speak English, lass. Ah cannae understan' a word yer sayin'."[/color] the cat said, after a few seconds.

 

[Slenn]

"If Schrødinger were here, he would know that that means you're trapped."

Vicky managed to catch up to EMily, coming to a sliding halt as she skated up close to her.

"Why're we stopping? Ya get it?"

The cat looked at Victoria and replied, [color=a52a2a]"Apparently so. What do you lot want?"[/color]

 

[Slenn]

She nodded in response to Vicky, keeping a vigilant eye on the cat for any sudden moves and channeling the shield. It was much easier now that she was closer.

"Would you be so kind as to return to your human form?"

The black woman continued to walk casually up to Vicky, EMily, and the cat.

[color=a52a2a]"Sure thing, miss."[/color] The cat began slowly changing shape, into the form matching the image on Victoria's bounty notice. [color=a52a2a]"Now will you tell me what you want?"[/color]

Tavish landed next to EMily and the cat. He was completely uninjured despite bein launched by an explosion and falling from what should have been a lethal height.

"So, what's happenin'? Is this cat the man we lookin' fer?"

 

[Drakmorg]

"Weird."

Vicky commented as she watched the cat turn into a man.

"But yeah, that's the guy."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Emily and Victoria. You owe a Japanese hotel owner money." the black woman said as she stood behind the small group. She didn't sound very threatening, just businesslike. Her accent was also very strange and entirely unfamiliar to everyone.

"How's that weird? Ain't you half cat too, lass?" Tavish said to Vicky.

 

[Slenn]

"It seems that you have acquired our interests. We want to turn you in."

"How do you know my name? And that hotel stay was for two nights. By their time, we shouldn't be at the second night."

OOC: I'm gone for the night. EMily will channel the shields until he's turned in or otherwise.

"I was hired to I was hired to find you. One of your companions gave the hotel's bartender a concussion and stole alcohol. The owner is willing to not go to the police as long as you provide compensation." the woman said to EMily cooly and concisely.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Okay first of all, no. And second of all, I can't do that."

Vicky answered Tavish. She tilted her head back and looked over her shoulder.

"How d'ya know my name?"

"I just explained that." the woman said.
