Sophia slumped her shoulders a little when she heard, Shara making it sound so easy when Sophia herself knew that Shara was probably giving her too much credit. That being said, Sophia stooped down to look through the tool box for the moment before sticking her nose up to see what was going on in the engine itself with Shara. "So what are we trying to do here?" She asked innocently.

You look in while telling Sophia that you don't know what exactly is causing problems, but that if something looks scorched or blackened, it's probably not good. You don't see anything clearly out of the ordinary and ask Sophia if she has a flash-light or the like.

Vicky let her eyes droop to half-lids as she said,

"Okay well the point is that I'm not, so I'm not really scared of your curses."

"Uh ya I got something like that. Hold on a second." Sophia said as she reached into her bag and pulled out the aetheric torch. The torch quickly turns on as she looks back into where Shara was working, shining it in that area. "Is that good? Do you need it a bit brighter?" Sophia asked, not sure what Shara was doing, fiddling with some wires?

"I think I'll let you girls handle this guy." Tavish said to EMily and Vicky as he started to head back to the ship. And get as far away from any curses as I can...

You nod in affirmative and point to the wires you investigated. In the brighter light it is clear that they have burnt out, with the board they are attached to blackened and the rubber covers partially melted. You say that these wires lead to the automatic engine cleansers, and that the wire was probably poor from the start and simply broke down from prolonged use.

"So they're not supposed to look like that... that's good we checked then, right? So that means we need to... switch them out or something right?" Sophia asked, trying to get a better look at the wires but was having trouble.

You confirm that the wires need to be replaced and start plugging them out. You do this by pulling a latch and then yanking, repeating on the other side of the wire and then continuing with the next. As you do, you say it wasn't a very dangerous problem, but if it wasn't fixed the soot build up could cause the engine to shut down mid-flight. You'd still be able to fly with two engines, but it isn't a good idea.

"We'll need some way of binding him so that we can take him to the bounty shop. I can't hold this shield forever. Also a kennel might be necessary."

Needless to say the idea of an engine breaking as they were up in the air was not something Sophia liked to hear. Sophia would keep the light steady for Shara but slowly started to look around the rest of the engine. If Shara looked at Sophia now, she'd see a look on her face much like a toddler being told to do advanced calculus, as in she wouldn't have the first idea where to start looking for a problem in this whole mess. "So are these wires the only thing that's the problem here then?" Sophia eventually asked.

Tavish turned around to face EMily. "I could stick a bomb to him. That should get him tae do what we say."

Samus disengaged her armour, drawing the Paralyser. "Stun him or restrain him?" she asked.

"Go ahead and stun him, Samus. I'll hold him until you can fire."

You glance around to have another look at the engine and say while something else might be faulty, you can't see anything obvious. You'll keep an eye on how it preforms during the next flight and have another look if it still has problems, but changing the wires should fix it. You finish removing the damaged wires and take your head out of the engine to grab fresh wire along with a wirecutter.

The black woman pulled out a tablet device and put it in front of Vicky's face. A video of Sharra shooting a Japanese bartender with her stun gun and then taking alcohol from behind the counter. The video is reasonably good quality, what might be expected from a security camera.

"If you knock him out, I shouldn't have a problem dragging him to where we need to take him."

Vicky commented to Samus. She placed her left hand on the tablet and shoved it out of her face in annoyance.

"Still don't know why you're bugging [i]me[/i] about this."

Samus nodde, adjusted some setting, charged a shot for a couple of seconds, and fired at Ross. The shot would leave him out cold for ten or so minutes.

Ross fell to the floor on his front, unconscious.
