You raise an eyebrow at somebody coming at you now for something you did in Japan, and tell the woman to firstly introduce herself, secondly pull her hand away from what you suspect is a weapon and thirdly be a little more specific on what she needed to talk about.

The cat ignored the holograms, instead focusing on running out of the groups line of sight. Samus would be unable to get a clean shot, due the cat being a small, fast moving target.

"I guess so huh?" Sophia laughed at Shara's joke. "Wait who's that behind him?" Sophia asked mostly to herself as she didn't expect Shara to know either.

"Call me Lone-Ronin. You've got a weapon, and I know you're not afraid to use it. You used it on a bartender in Japan, and now the employer is looking for compensation for that, and a few other things." the woman said as she didn't move.

Even though it was dark, EMily could still see the cat easily against the darkness. From the glimpses of the cat's glowing dot through the cars, EMily was able to make out where the cat was headed.

Having regained enough energy, and also some more energy from disabling the holograms, she was able to project a repulsive shield ahead of the cat with Photon.

When Ross reached the shield, he quickly changed direction and jumped a wall. However, EMily and the others would see the cat stop and turn to face them.

You look at the person now identified as "Lone-Ronin" with a look of disbelief, after a moment you ask her if she seriously travelled across half the globe because of a five minute stun and a glass of beer. You say that while you sort of admire the tenacity on display there, you still have the same currency that the bartender wouldn't accept, so it really was pointless to come all this way.

EMily caught up with the cat.

"You better have more than just shapeshifting and running up your sleeves. Avoiding capture is easier than avoiding your karma."

Samus aimed the Paralyser, adjusting the power so it wouldn't harm the smaller creature.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Wait... you came from Japan...? How?" Sophia asked to the woman, not believing someone could literally find them this fast without some form of shenanigans involved. "It hasn't even been a day yet? How'd you know where to come look?"

 

[Outisakanobody]

"If you can't or refuse to pay, I'm to take you back to Japan to be prosecuted." Lone-Ronin explained calmly as she gazed at Sharra with her large sunglasses. "If you want to avoid that, maybe your friends could lend you the money." she added.

"Ask your friends." she said to Sophia.

The cat meowed up at EMily adorably.

 

[Slenn]

"God dangit Ross, I know you can speak english. And cuteness may win over Winona in this situation, but not me." She released the previous shield and made a new one around the cat.

 

[Kirke]

Placing a hand on your blaster coldly saying that instead, she would do well to go away now. As you mentally get ready for combat, you faintly remember the teachings of your old friend and mentor, and the style of combat he teached you. You focus on the "waves" emitting from the woman in front of you, trying to predict her next move.

"There you are ya fucker!"

Vicky shouted at the cat as she saw it again. She skated over and dove to grab ahold of it.

"Well you took all that nonexistent time to get here, so talking more wouldn't make any difference..." Sophia mumbles to herself picking her ear a little.

The next time Sharra blinked Ronin was aiming a pistol at her chest, her purse now on the ground at Ronin's feet. "This isn't a stun-pistol, so you're going to want to get your hand away from that gun." she said.

Samus looked at the cat as it meowed, tilting her head quizzically and resisting the urge to pick the creature up.

The cat purred, and EMily would faintly feel a desire to snuggle the kitty. Victoria would probably bump into EMily's shield.

 

[Slenn]

EMily closed her eyes as she concentrated.

"You're a criminal. No amount of being adorable will conceal that."
