Mara Triangle, Kenya - 13:13PM
Moving east, the bug moved from the grassy area, into the nearby foliage. Through the foliage, the bug approached the outskirts of the Mara conservancy HQ, and climbed into a tree from there it overlooked the activity below. It saw few rangers moving around on the outskirts, few enough that it could put then down with a few shots. It decided against shooting, however, not wanting what others there might be further in the compound to be alerted.
Coming up with a plan of attack, the bug put down its bag on the branch it was perched on, and secured it with webbing, then climbed down from the tree. Moving to one of the trees right next to the outskirt, the bug climbed up it and began spinning a thread. After tying the end of it into a noose, and spun it around like a lasso as it looked to its target, a having a smoke under the shade of the tree the bug was in.
After calculating where the ranger would be by the time the web lasso would reach him, the bug hurled it at the ranger. When the loop of the web lasso going over the ranger's neck, the bug pulled at it to pull the ranger closer to the tree, then began hoisting the ranger up, having no trouble lifting the ranger's weight. Once it had pulled the ranger high up enough, it wrapped its right hand over the ranger's mouth before pulling him onto the branch and biting him with its four fangs and injecting him with the tail stinger, injecting three different types of neurotoxtins. Once the venom had largely paralyzed the ranger, the bug used the same thread it used to pull the ranger up to tie him down, then leapt out of the tree, gliding down towards the ground.
While the takedown had largely been silent, the ranger the bug had pulled up did make a gasping noise when first being pulled towards the tree. This was picked up by an other nearby ranger, which began moving towards the position he heard the noise from, albeit at a leisurely pace. The bug was aware of this, and moved to a position where it could ambush him.
