Medic stared, and sighed, collapsing on the car.
"Vhell, I am. If you vant to know ze whole reason, I vant zere bodies to test on. I vant to know how ze vork so I can see vhat I can do vit zhem, see if I can make humanity realize vhat it can become. But to do zhat, zhey must die, and I cannot kill zhem myself. I know you vill vant to kill ze vuns who kill, and I know I can help you vit zhat. Ve all vin, in the end, but I cannot help you vin to my best ability vitout it." he said defeated. "You do not haf to, zhen. I just vanted to be able to do my best."
Engineer watched, and idly sat down by Sophia.

"So... She's gone... Wish ah got to know her." he said.

Tavish looked around after tinkering with his bombs for a bit, and noticed the wooden door in the middle of the cargo hold. As with anything new to him, Tavish's first impulse was to blow it up, so he walked over to the door and pointed his grenade launcher at it.

If someone were standing on the wrong side of the door for it to be visible, it would appear to them that Tavish was aiming at Sophia.

 

[Wackymon]

"STOP IT." Medic yelled at Tavish, quickly charging up to the Demoman.

 

[Slenn]

Before Medic charged to go get Demoman...

"How do you know what technology exists where I come from? Regardless, if you can heal so much in so little time.. then do just that! That already sounds amazing."

<color=purple>"People with those qualities also come with a strong mind that usually tells them not to run into gunfire like that. I know better than to do something like that as well as my sisters. Anyone who's right in their mind will know not to dive into a turret firing at you, or take a sword to their face, to dive onto a grenade with their chest. An invincible shield will just make a brash person reckless instead of useful. We've gotten far enough ourselves to go without invincible addons, and it's trained both our minds and our body. We wouldn't be able to do the things we can do if we didn't go through trials by fire."
Gwen left and stood by the wall, eyeing Sophia.

"You've already hurt her heart, medic. If you want to earn our trust, you must learn what are trustworthy actions."
She left as well to stand by Gwen.

"What?! Look at this bloody thing? Who wouldn't want tae blow it up?" Tavish yelled at medic while pointing at the door. To anyone that couldn't see the door, it would appear that he was pointing at Sophia.

 

[Zepherus14]

"We need to go back for her!" She mumbled as she continued to hold onto the comm-link, looking up as Medic's loud shout nudged her out of it, not sure why he yelled again.

 

[Outisakanobody]

These humans sure like to talk and argue. Not making me very glad I followed them. Guess i'll just turn my music up a little.

 

[Wackymon]

Medic glared at Tavish, "SHE is not to be BLOW UP. And for vun thing, I vouldn't. I don't blow people UP, you see." medic said, quickly walking up to Demoman, "So put ze launcher AVAY!"

Engineer nodded, "We'll go back, r- GOOD GOD, DEMO! PUT THAT DAMN THING AWAY!"

"What da hell do ya mean 'she'? It's a bloody door!"

 

[Wackymon]

"VHAT DO YA MEAN, I DO- Oh goodness. You might vant to see it from zhis perspective, zhere is an invisible door here." he said, standing inbetween demoman and Sophia.

 

[Slenn]

They went over to Sophia.

<color=purple>"I agree. I want to know exactly what attacked her."

"We'll have to order to autopilot to land near where Shara is."
Although I don't think she'd still be alive by this point. What's the deal with the smooth jazz playing?

"Are ya sure dose glasses are workin', doctor? The door is not bloody invisible! It's right dere!"

Such a fucking blowhard... You think anyone would get pissed if I tried kicking him out of this thing while it's moving?... The chocolate smell had brought up a great sense of hunger in Vicky, so she didn't even try to bother with hiding what she was doing anymore, and started openly licking Sundowner's blood off the two claws that were still covered with it.

Medic glared at Demoman, "Vhy, yes, zhey are. Ze OTHER side of ze door is invisible." he said, as he decided to open the door.

Sophia would continue to watch the exchange between Medic and Tavish for the moment, however she looked like she wasn't all there at the moment. "Y-ya... we'll go find her..." She agreed quietly, rubbing her face with her sleeve again. The tunic turning about to be really useful.

 

[Demonjazz]

Hearing the order to go back Dave changed the course. Dace was still sitting down sadly. "Ya don't understand... I was dere... Watching."

 

[Wackymon]

Engineer nodded, "Pardon the medic, ladies, he's... Well, he's off his rocker, for one thing, but he sounds pretty frustrated too. Don't blame you girls if you throw him off the side of the ship, he can be a pain in the ass at times." he said.[hr]Earlier
Medic sighed at Dance, "Yes. But, vhell, I vonder vhat you could haf done. Vhat vere you facing?"

Tavish shoved the medic aside before he could open the door. "Invisible from da other side huh? Well I'll just have tae see aboot that myse- oh." Tavish said as he walked around the door.

He tried placing his hand on the invisible side of the door while he was standing at the side of it. Rather than stopping on an invisible surface, his arm simply went into the invisible side of the door and should have appeared on the visible side of the door, but it was as if his arm simply disappeared. Yet when he pulled his arm back it was still whole.

"... What the hell?" Tavish said with awe as he looked at his hand, assuring himself that it was still connected to the rest of his arm.

 

[Slenn]

They both kneeled down next to her. They rubbed her on her shoulders.
I always wanted to ask her about that chocolate smell, but I can never find the proper time to ask her. It seems to appear every time she's stressed.

<color=purple>"Say, Sophia. Do you have a favorite song?"

"We can understand that he can be a nice guy. But he has a lot to learn about earning trust... and the mind and body." She said to Engie. "By the way, I don't think I ever caught your name."
