Goddamn those two piss me the hell off... Having licked her claws clean already, Vicky walked over to the door Tavish and Medic were standing near. She'd reach out for the handle and attempt to open it, shoving either of the two out of the way without a word if necessary.

 

[Wackymon]

Medic stared, "Oh, your arm is missing n-"
He was then knocked into the floor face first. Again.
Earlier:
"Vhell, I don't know enough about vhat happened... Could you fill me in?" he said.[hr]
Engineer nodded, "The thing is, he doesn't really view the body as much more than a thing, a sack of meat. To him, cutting someone open and replacing their heart is no worse than drawing a few lines on their arm or such, and he's pretty frustrated because, to him, he's just trying to give you some basic quality of life improvements, while you are the ones denying it because vaccines cause autism or something as stupid as that. And he's not good at explaining, hence why he's working at Man Co rather than at a university." he said.

(Sorry was talking with my brother there for a bit, now let's see.)

Sophia looked up again when she felt something touching her shoulders, seeing EMily and Gwen trying to comfort her. "[small]A song?[/small]" She sniffled as she tried wiping her face some more. "[small]I guess some of the things my mom used to sing when I was younger? I never really got a lot of exposure to music...[/small] Why?" She asked Gwen, her face rather puffy.

"After she helped on da repairs of my ship. I went off and she fought da mech before she was shot out da sky."

Vicky would open the door easily, and almost immediately after she did so, a man would fall face first through the door. The door would force itself shut not long after, but Vicky might notice that it was a beach on the other side of the door.

The man rolled onto his back to face Tavish, medic, and Vicky. He looked almost like he was dying. He was very skinny, and his skin was pale, with the veins standing out in contrast, but his blue eyes were vibrant and alert. He made an effort to speak, but was only able to cough. He was also missing the index and middle finger of his right hand, a bloody makeshift bandage covering the wound. Medic might see that infection from the wound on his hand was what seemed to be making him sick.

 

[Slenn]

"Why we are rejecting it is not because of some pseudoscientific garbage. As a scientist, pseudoscience is heresy. So believe me I wouldn't mention anything like it to defend ourselves as scientists." She had an expression that signaled she had far more experience in the matter then Engie would expect. "And that's your first warning about claiming something spoken by either I or my sister is pseudoscientific. We're denying it because we've built our minds and our bodies without the need for such devices. We've worked together as sisters as a team for a long time, learning as much as possible and making strategies against near impossible scenarios. And finally by going through trials by fire. Somehow I don't think he realizes that. He doesn't get that being invincible doesn't necessarily mean a surefire win. We already have ourselves, our bodies, our minds, and the forces of nature we harness. Why would we need anything else?"

<color=purple>"Yeah, any of those. Could you teach me? Perhaps a nice song to uplift ourselves."

 

[Wackymon]

"No, I know that, but that's just how medic sees it. He's seeing you denying something simple to him, and he knows that being invisible is not a instant win, but he also knows that it's a undeniable edge. He knows this in his heart, and he knows that the human body can only take so much, that it has limits, and he's simply trying to increase those limits. I'm not saying your stuff is psuedo scientific knowledge, I'm saying that's how medic sees it. Pardon me if I offended you." he said.[hr] Medic stared at him, and quickly healed the man with the Medi-gun.

"I-I can't remember any right now..." Rubbing her face, looking like she wasn't fully there at the moment. The effort though was admirable, and Gwen might notice that although Sophia was still very much upset, reminding of her time when she was much smaller was helping her deal with this better, however slight it might be. "Do you know any..?" She eventually asked.

 

[Slenn]

"You are forgiven." She bowed. "I understand that temporary invincibility would be a neat tactic. But the way he's going about it is incredibly forceful. As if he doesn't understand how trust works. And so far he's doing a lousy job at it. First from being, like I said, forceful on everyone's will and not taking 'no' for an answer. And secondly, by suggesting rude things to do like laughing over the dead bodies of the people that murdered a special someone dear to us. In most people's eyes many people would take him as a psychopath. It just makes him questionable, like a surgeon who's just reckless."

Talking about music. Maybe I should get my trumpet out of the trunk. Might help lighten the mood.

Vicky stepped back as the man came tumbling out the door, readying her knife and standing defensively in expectation of an attack. When she saw that the person who fell out was sickly and harmless, she relaxed, but still took a few more steps back.

"Oh what the shit is this?"

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"There's an old song from a thousand years ago, and it's titled 'All You Need Is Love'. It goes something like this..."

She turned to find the robot.
<color=purple>"You know how this song goes?"

She started singing the first few bars of the song...

The man would hear a familiar song from Gwen and EMily and would stop to listen for a few moments before retturning his attention to the three surrounding him.

The man mistook the medi-gun for a weapon, so as soon as medic began to point the it at the man, he would use his left hand to draw one of the two revolvers on his hip and fire through both of the medic's hands with a single shot. Tavish tried to raise his weapon at the man, and he fired through both of the demoman's hands with a single shot as well. He then pointed the gun at Vicky's chest. Even in his weakened state, the man did this with speed almost imperceptible, even to Vicky. Even though the gunshots were incredibly loud in the cramped space of the ship, he seemed unfazed.

"[color=01A9DB]If you threaten me as they did, your fate will be the same. Drop your weapon.[/color]" The man with the blue eyes said to her as he tried and failed to get to his feet. His aim with his revolver however, would not falter.

Sophia seemed to enjoy the song well enough, although this slight uplift was short lived as the new guy fired his guns, making her obviously jump at the loud sound. "Where'd that guy come from!?" She exclaimed.

 

[Drakmorg]

"You know, I like you. So sure thing."

Vicky replied to the man, not being able to hide the smile on her face resulting from seeing her two least favorite people get shot. She let go of her knife, it stabbing slightly into the floor enough to stand up straight as she did.

 

[Wackymon]

"And if you could save a child's life by getting him vaccinated against his mothers will, would you?... well, probably medic tries a bit too hard. And he is a psychopath, but he's still the best in his field."

Medic, predictablydropped his weapon, before sighing and picking it back up. "Vhell, you do not vant help zhen?" He asked.

 

[Demonjazz]

Dace came over there with his rifle aimed right at his head. "You're the one who needs to drop their weapon!"

 

[Slenn]

Gwen and EMily slightly jumped at the guns firing. But they went back to chatting.

"Probably, because I don't come off as a psychopath to the mother. And may I ask where did he get his medical license? You say he's the best in his field."

And more shooting. In the ship too. Good. Just what we all needed. "You got some fast hands human, I'll admit that, but do you wanna see if you're faster than a literal killing machine?" I say as I slowly exit my car.
