Hearing no further useful information, the bug would wait for a moment until the eyes of what people were gathered on the grounds weren't fixed on its position and the road to the left was clear of trafic, then sprint away from the building it was hiding behind, its paw pads muffling its movement to near inaudibility.
Moving left, the bug crossed the road, moved over a small stretch of emptyness, passed a few buildings were no one was standing outside of, then into a small wooded area. There it took a moment to catch its breath, then moved on. Moving to the edge of the wooded area, the bug climbed into a tree and overlooked the city propper, then climbed down again once it got a good look. Once the coast was as clear as it was likely going to get, the bug moved towards the back of a gas station, where it climbed against the wall and listened to those outside.
