"I've always sort of enjoyed the rain, myself. The bright yellow light of the sun cools down to this calm white light that brings out the colors in everything. The cool wetness of the air and the sound of the rain against the vegetation. It's like a reset button that washes away all your worries." She made a nostalgic sigh. "If you don't mind, you can talk about anything to me. Do you mind if I ask you what makes rain so sad for you?"

"I have a laser, but that's about it." She said to robot Dave.

OOC: Gonna be gone to get groceries.

"That would work. I'll get the container." He said getting one of the lsrge plasteel containers from his ship.

Samus nodded, following Sophia.

"Rain...always makes me sentimental..."

[X-9 mutters from his position on the wall, seeming like he's not quite fully conscious yet.

"Do you mind just sharing one of them?" She sat down next to Joel, a calm tone emanated from her. "I don't mind hearing a long story anyways."

Medic ran out, looking around panickedly, medi-gun hastily prepared, lab-coat slightly off.
"Vhat have I missed!?" he asks in a panic.

"Dace died... I also believe that I am feeling what humans call sadness... That's sad."

Joel sat down as well. [color=003399]"Well, here's the short version."[/color] he began. [color=003399]"I spent pretty much my entire life in this facility out in the middle of nowhere. Aside from the staff, most of the people there were fairly young. Anyway, the facility included a load of fields, a woodland area, a lake and all that sort of stuff. The others were allowed out pretty much all the time, but I, for reasons that should be obvious, wasn't."[/color]

Samus waved the Medic over. "Victoria has a head wound."

Sophia continued to carry Victoria into the ship, and would stick with him as he dealt with Victoria, making sure he didn't get any ideas.

"I'm guessing it was the anger issues."

Joel looked over at X-9 and said, [color=003399]"No, it was the possibility of me irradiating the land and fucking everything up. I don't have anger issues."[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Was the facility there to assist people like you? Or was it more of a lab, and they found you as an interesting person?"

Gwen came in as well to take a breather.

I guess because we're interesting."[/color] Joel replied, turning his attention back to EMily. [color=003399]"I guess it was for people like me. Depending on how you define 'like me', at least. And 'assist'."[/color]

Medic nodded, and began to heal Victoria with the medi-gun.
"So. how vaz ze battle?" he asked.

 

[Slenn]

"Well... did those at the facility give you what you needed? Were you able to eat? And were the others have drastically different powers than yours?"

"If you say so."

[color=003399]"If I couldn't eat, I'd be dead. So yeah, they kept us alive. And, some of them did. There were a bunch of nature spirits, and faeries, and a friend of mine was some kind of werewolf, and she had powers sort of like mine too. Nitrogen, I think. The stuff people use to flash-freeze bananas."[/color] Joel replied, closing his eyes to think.

 

[Slenn]

"A werewolf that can generate liquid nitrogen from the air... huh." She must be the girl he mentioned earlier that was his counselor of sorts. "Did you have any other friends at this place? What was she like?"
