Vicky quietly curled up into a ball once the Medic had alleviated her concussion enough to give her back her basic motor skills. She began shivering as the cold finally started to get to her, but didn't put any effort to do anything about it.

Medic continued the healing.
"Pardon about ze lateness, I vas asleep." he said.

As for my friend, she's real nice. She was the only other resident who actually spent time with me. And, she helped me break out."[/color]

"Oh my goodness, I already have a talking cat and Winona has all her pets. I think I'm fine without a robot." She said to Dave.

"Help you break out of your emotional issues? Did she try and help you with the rain?"

Joel shook his head. [color=003399]"No, break out of the facility. She froze the walls and I smashed them so we could run away."[/color] he explained. [color=003399]"I guess that helped me with the rain, in that I actually got to go in the rain for the first time."[/color]

Samus looked at the robot. "Why are you actioning yourself?"

"That is my protocol if my master becomes deceased." He explained to Samus.

 

[Slenn]

"And what did the rain feel like?" She asked simply, as if it might be a critical question.

[color=003399]"Cold as shit. Just being outside was amazing, though."[/color] Joel replied, smiling.

 

[Slenn]

She snickered a bit at Joel's first comment on rain.
"They don't call it the 'good green Earth' for nothing. You already know why I like the rain. But something tells me this tale turns out bad if the rain gives you sadness. I don't mean to pry, but what happened during the rain that first made you feel sad?"

[color=003399]"Oh, fuck. I got completely sidetracked."[/color] Joel said, remembering the original point of this story. [color=003399]"No, this tale doesn't end badly. The reason I get sad when it rains is just because the other residents could go out in the rain and have fun and all that, and I didn't."[/color]

EMily was indeed touched by Joel's story.
"Awwww.... Do you want to have fun in the rain right now? It's right there in front of you." She gestured to the rainstorm outside the ship with a bright smile. "The past is the easiest thing to get sidetracked on. But we all have a future, and that's what will matter most."

I hope he gets past the rain in time. "I think Samus found it sometime earlier."

Joel sighed and stood up. [color=003399]"I know where they are, if nobody brought them back."[/color] he said, looking around to see if his clothes and bag were nearby.

"You should not follow orders that make no sense. This is not an auction. And even if it was, you are sentient, correct? Why sell yourself into slavery?"

Sophia found herself a towel as she tried to try herself off, sitting in the same room with the Medic and Victoria as she'd discussed previously. She still had some of the scrapes and bruises from being kicked by Victoria, but tried not to play them up too much, wanting Medic just to focus on Victoria at the moment. 'She really got roughed up...'

"How's she doing now doc?" Sophia quietly asked Medic, trying not to disturb him.

"Because that is my protocol and this is what I want to do... Are you interested in buying?"

Not seeing his stuff, Joel began walking back up to the World Marshall building.
