We Are Our Avatars IX: Act V: The Sabotage of the Scandolous Saurian Scoundrels (Open)

Sharas missiles were shot down, but the blaster shots connected.

Joel would fins the sword easily sliced through the armour, though not very deeply. It would take a few cuts to breach it completely.

The blade was stuck in the ground, with the arm it was attached to twitching, servos whining as it tired to pull out. Samus jumped on top of the blade,and Seras could make the jump too. The blade was attached to an arm that lead up the the mech's "neck", and it was possible to board onto the main body from there.

Vicky replied to Sophia as she left. She sighed and laid down, and after rubbing her left arm would quickly fall asleep.

Currently

Even a few hours later, Vicky would have remained sleeping unless someone had disturbed her.

Doom Guy also jumped onto the blade stabbing his blade into it.

The mammoth blade slammed into the ground mere centimetres from the man who, without missing a beat, leapt on top on it and started sprinting along it towards Excelsus proper. As he reached the more vulnerable joint he fished a thin slab a bit over half the length of his forearm from the pocket of his jacket and slapped it on the joint.

With that done he leapt from the blade and onto the twin stuck into the ground as the slab and the metal started to fizz as the combination of aluminium and iron oxide ignited and burned with hellish heat.

<color=purple>"We're gonna need some better firepower in order to take it down, EMily. Those lasers didn't look like it did much."

"And I can't fire lightning because people are climbing on the robot. Wait a minute...." She looked around for targets. This robot may be big enough I could get away with antimatter. And since the others are on the top, and Joel uses radiation for his powers. "Gwen... energy into matter." She said to her, as if it was some code. Gwen placed herself in front of Roland to shield him.

EMily appeared to hover in the air. Her dress fanned outward as she channeled the energy into her hands and placed two fingers nearly 1 nanometer apart, making them appear to touch. Her hands were placed above her and her legs were tapered much like a ballet dancer. A sharp blue light came from her fingers as a beam of antimatter shot outward towards one of the farther legs, and the beam of matter came shooting in the opposite direction. The antimatter beam would pack just enough to make an explosive force equivalent to that of an RPG on contact with dense matter. EMily would absorb much of the radiation near by her as the beam passed through air.

OOC: Took some risks there, but I think I can pull this one off.

Roland fired at the blade as it was stuck in the ground, seeing that shooting the joint didn't cause much damage.

The superheated metal didn't nseem to do much, though the arm did start to glow with heat.

Roland shooting the blade itself kinda worked, as although the vibration sent the bullets ricocheting off, they left a lasting mark on the titanic sword.

The antimatter bomb hit the back leg of the mech, making the leg crap out for a second and making the whole mech shake. However, this would prove dangerous for the people trying to board it.

Seras reconsidered jumping on the mech since lots of people were shooting at it. she just starting shooting with her shotgun.

Joel slashed at the blade with the Murasama another couple of times.

Sophia herself wouldn't be able to get to sleep, still too bothered by everything to nod off for a short nap. Because of this, she didn't feel up to going with the others to the fight with the giant killer mecha of doom and Sam.

After a few hours, Victoria might be woken up a small migraine. It was only severe enough that it would give her trouble getting back to sleep, but it wouldn't be enough to get her to wake up by itself.

You turn again, going in for another run. However, when you discover that a few have climbed up on the mech, you break off your attack and begin to circle roughly two kilometres out. You wonder if your earlier attacks even did any damage, and conduct a scan of the mech to find out more exactly what is's composition is. The computer scans the mass and volume of the target, then runs against a database to find what elements or alloys are used.

Vicky groaned as she returned to consciousness, the new migraine coupling with her already existing pain to roust her from sleep.

"Oh hell. Yeah, great, this is exactly what I needed."

She moaned aloud to herself as she rubbed her head.

Joel's slashes eventually cut through the armour, revealing bare metal beneath.

Seras' bullets had little effect.

Samus ran up onto the mech's main body, charging a shot.

Shara's scan would find the contraption mostly composed of a ludicrously stronger version of the same CNT armour as the cyborgs, with metal alloys and wires running through it.

Roland decided to hold his fire an just focus on dodging the Excelsor's attacks, since his own shots didn't really do anything.

The sisters kept themselves moving as the metal fists kept raining down on them. EMily was able to get another clear shot.

"Hold on to the giant robot guys!" She yelled out to the people who were climbing up. She fired another RPG-strength antimatter shot at the same leg. Afterwards, Gwen projected a time-haste field around the people nearby her on the ground so that their reaction time to the incoming fists was doubled.

Sophia had gotten up to see where the periodic shaking and loud noises came from, not entirely what was causing them, but knowing it wasn't something good. She however looked back into the ship when she thought she heard Victoria moan. She soon approached the door and opened it up, sticking her head inside. "Hey there sleepy head, was that you just now?" She asked quietly, not entirely sure if Victoria was awake or not.

"Yeah. I just got a killer migraine. Because apparently the universe thinks that I don't have enough to deal with right now."

She replied to Sophia, irritation not directed to Sohpia prevalent in her tone.

"A-A migraine?" Sophia repeated, sounding a little surprised by the news. "How about other than that right now?" She asked quietly, now just not wanting to agitate Victoria more. 'Damn it! I knew it was too much.' She thought to herself as her hand propped against the door frame tensed slightly. 'I just need her a wide birth for the rest of the day once everyone is back... Then it should be fine.'

"Yeah, a migraine. What's the big deal with that?"

Vicky asked Sophia, picking up on her surprise.

"My guts aren't feeling any better either."

She answered Sophia's second question.
