Roland stared at the excelsior for a few seconds, then set Shara's blaster to its highest setting.
"In this? Not likely." Armstrong gloated. "Soon, this whole place will be a smoking crater. It'll be the spark America's been waiting for!"
"Would you be willing to trade?" Seras asked Joel as she pulled out the pistol she had gotten from Ronin a while ago. She was also pointing at his new sword.

"Treason?" Armstrong sounded offended. "I'm just doing what America wants. We have all the great "ism"s! Capitalism, materialism, unilateralism! Welcome maxims for those with no faith. Give yourself up to the whole, no need to better yourself. You're American! You're number one! Then the only value left is dollar value: the economy. So we'll do whatever it takes to keep it humming along. Even war. Especially war." His naturally loud voice combined with the mech's speakers sent his speech booming across the compound.
"We are facing down a very large mechanical vehicle. It has pincer like blades and two plasma cannons on its head, so be careful." Samus said into the mic, a hint of panic in her voice.
OoC: For the record, the EXELSUS is waaaaaay bigger than the RAY. Like, three times as big at a guesstimate.

"...Even with one arm? No offense, but I would have thought you'd want to stay away from the fighting." Seras said.
Joel glared up at the hologram of Armstrong, then yelled, [color=003399]"I'm gonna melt your fucking bones and drown you with your own fucking lungs! Now get the fuck out of there, you damn coward!"[/color] Joel then looked at Seras, grinning sadistically, and replied, [color=003399]"I'm much tougher than I look!"[/color]
You slide into to the assuring and calm tone of an experienced flyer when you reply, confirming that an airstrike is inbound and that you'll be careful. You pull up and see the spider robot, still over two kilometres out. You let loose two radar missiles which easily lock on to the giant target, and behind them you lock your four blaster cannons onto the "head", letting loose a short salvo of five blasts, the equivalent of the same number of high-velocity tank shells.
