Sophia listened closely to Winona's lesson, although near the end Sophia looked down for a moment, then over to the napkin again, and then back over to Winona.
"I'll remember that if I need to jump off somewhere high up, then. Gravity ain't that important apparently." Sophia joked with a smile, making it very clear enough that she wasn't serious about it in the slightest. "And... so lightning holds that stuff together... or... weak lightning, I guess. I knew EMily was able to do that sort of thing already, but I didn't realize it was so important."

Moving towards the exit of the kitchen, Yeul passed Joel. "Oh." She said as she raised her hand with her index finger extended, turning towards Joel and looking up to him. "I have heard mention of your name, but you do not yet know mine, unless I am mistaken?"
Seeing Yeul stopping to talk to Joel, Caius looked to the distance between then, still wary of potential danger.

Joel looked at Yeul for a second, thinking. [color=003399]"No, I don't think I know your name. I'm Joel, in case you weren't sure."[/color] he replied.

As for lightning, think of it this way: the same force that creates lightning is also the force that holds the atom together. This force pulls and pushes on electric charges. And lightning is just electric charge that's pulled down incredibly fast towards the ground. And the protons and electrons are bound together by this same force."
She took a breather, and then came a nostalgic sigh from being a little bit mystified in her own lecture.

"I had heard." Yeul confirmed, barely vissibly giving a nod. "I am Yeul. That is Caius." She stated, turning her body by a few degrees and pointing to Caius when she mentioned him.
Being mentioned, Caius looked towards Joel directly, and gavea nod. "As she said." he stated curtly.
Turning back to face Joel again, Yeul asked, "I have been wondering, how many people are aboard this vessel? Do you know? In conversation, I heard a name I had not heard before, and before that, I saw someone chase after... Samus, I believe her name was."

Joel nodded back at Caius, before turning his attention to Yeul. He began thinking, counting the people on board on his fingers. And I'm guessing the name you hadn't heard before is Vicky?"[/color]

Around this time, the ship began approaching England. Anyone capable of seeing outside may notice the area around Bristol was covered with clouds, rain pouring down.

"It still blows you away?" Sophia repeated, leaning her head back. "Don't get me wrong, I like learning and all... but this kind of science stuff makes my head hurt sometimes." Sophia lamented. rubbing her forehead a little. "There's just... well so much stuff to learn about. I feel like that one Alice girl and her rabbit hole trip sometimes when I learn about these things."
"Vicky or Victoria, yes. I was not certain the names pertained to the same person, but this confirms it." Yeul stated, then paused for a brief moment. "Although the name Seras is new to me, also."
Hearing the group consisted of fifteen people, Caius wondered how all of them came to Earth, and what events lead them to banding together. He added these thoughts to the list of questions to ask when given the chance, continuing to let Yeul speak for now.

Seras started to feel drowsy, then fell unconscious. Faro noticed this and rushed over to her. He caught her and started trying to wake her up.
Winona giggled as she heard Sophia's expression. <color=green>"I've felt the same way when I was a kid. Alice was an adventurer huh? But like her, scientists want to make sense of the world around us. But there are many places that don't make sense. And while that may deter others away, it's the search for answers and the questions that come from those answers that drives scientists. And so we search Wonderland in search of answers. And isn't that what our universe is? It's a land full of wonders." She chuckled again. <color=green>"So don't be afraid to ask questions. I'd be more than happy to explain anything."

His most notable features, however, were his pointed ears, sticking out from his round head, and his long pointed nose. The man was looking down at his hands, the fingers interlocked.
To the right of the table, from Seras' perspective, was a woman who also had silver-grey hair, however hers was only shoulder-length, and had a blue hairband in it. Despite this, the woman seemed to be quite young, though still likely older than Seras. She was holding a black book, her gaze fixed on it. Her attire consisted of a blue trench coat, coming down to her knees. Her legs, visible to Seras from her position, were covered by dark tights, with blue heels on her feet.

"Welcome, to the Velvet Room."

"Yes, EMily has told me to ask you guys questions whenever I can." Sophia said with a small sigh and a smile, adjusting her glasses slightly. "I'm just concerned I'll pass out for being blue in the face after asking so many things of you guys."
"I heard it. I for one am okay with vampires as long as they don't attack anybody... Oh, by the way tell Seras when she wakes up! That she might become mutated or something from that blood she drank from me a while back. Doctors said that I shouldn't give blood for another ten years until they figure out the side effects of the super serum they put in me. She'll probably be okay though."
Samus, who had been near Seras when she passed out, ran over to check on her. She briefly materialised her helmet, scanning the vampire to make sure was still alive. When she knew for sure, she dismissed it again, wondering what had happened.
<color=green>"It's fair enough to take your time. A scientist does the same thing." She smiled and nodded.

Seras visibly cringed and tried to distance herself from both the two people as she saw them. Too many questions jumbled up in her brain to say any of them.
"I see. Provided the path of Caius and myself would not take us elsewhere, maybe I will get to meet these people, too." Yeul stated.
Caius looked to Yeul, then back to Joel, speaking up now that Yeul had finished speaking. "To follow up on my question to you before I was pulled away, you have no knowledge of what brought you to this world? Or even if this is even the same one as the one you know?" He asked. "Or did I not understand that correctly?"
