"Yes. As mentioned in previous conversation, I wish to ask these store owners questions as to what lead them to coming to this world in hope of getting closer to finding a way back to ours." Caius answered as he followed Joel along with Yeul.

"While some haste in finding our way back is of the essence, I for one, am glad to have been given the oppertunity to see sights so different then ones familiar to me." Yeul chimed in as she walked, sounding a little more upbeat then before.

"Okay... so, any other big, world-threatening villains around here?" The man asked Samus. "Otherwise coming to this world was kind of a waste."

"Not that I know of."

 

[Slenn]

Gwen's eyes glowed as she was keeping the rain away from Joel.

<color=purple>"You holding up okay?" She asked.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

[color=003399]"Right."[/color] Joel replied as they approached the store. [color=003399]"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks."[/color] Joel said, opening the door and stepping inside.

"I guess metal people don't talk all that much, huh?" He commented, looking at Samus' armor. "Well I guess I have absolutely nothing to do now..."

 

[Slenn]

"Huh... interesting. It's like a clinic for people with amputated arms that need a cybernetic limb... without the hospital." She chuckled, looking inside. Gwen held up the field for those who were going inside and then went inside herself.

 

[ShindoL Shill]

Those who followed Joel inside would see a number of limbs on the walls, most of them clearly metal. Some, however, had skin-coloured material covering them, much like Joel's original prosthetic. The limbs ranged from hands, to arms and included feet and legs. Aside from the stock, it would look like a normal store. [color=003399]"Not just amputees."[/color] Joel stated as he approached the counter and rang a small bell.

"Our whole group is made of people not of this world, some who came through willingly, some who fell through at random." Samus told him. "If nothing else, I suggested you talk to them for now. " She began to walk off, disengaging from the conversation.

 

[Chungus]

Reaching the store as the with the rest, Yeul stepped inside after Joel, with Caius following after her. Both waited by the door opening once inside, letting Joel do what he came to do first. While waiting, Caius crossed his arms and looked over the interior of the store and whoever was inside to assess threat levels, while Yeul looked with interest to the style of the decorations in the store.

Seeing the prosthetic models on display, Yeul momentarily looked a little taken aback, but her expression returned to the mildly curious-looking one she had on the trip, while she wondered how the limbs worked.

"Where would I find [sub]oh you're walking away now okay...[/sub]" He said mostly to himself as Samus walked away. He stood there and looked around awkwardly for a few seconds before he started to follow Samus.

Caius would see nobody other than the group members in the store, until a tall man emerged from a back room, removing a pair of latex gloves and binning them as he did so. Seeing Joel's lack of a left arm, he re-opened the door to the back room, indicating for Joel to head through. As he did so, the other group members may see the back room had a couple of beds, with someone in one, sleeping.
Yeul would see the front room was sparsely decorated, and in fact the prosthetic limbs were the closest things to wall decorations it had. Other than that, there were a number of seats around a table, which had a variety of magazines and the day's newspapers on it.

"How can I help you?" the man asked, his accent possibly identifiable as Irish.

"Some of them are out, but I believe there are still a few people on that ship." Samus stopped and told him, not really wanting to be engaged in a lengthy conversation. "They will tell you more."

 

[Zepherus14]

Sophia had followed along with the group, wanting to buy some things herself if she could, and was curious to see what they'd come across at the places she wasn't expecting. Like Yeul, she was surprised to see all the different arms on display, looking them over as each looked a little different from the last. "That's a lot of prosthetic." She said out loud as she scanned the place.

She eventually found her way to the table, and had a glance at the newspaper, wondering what it was.

"Okay... so I'm guessing that giant flying metal thing is the ship." The man said, more too himself than to Samus. "I guess I'll see you later, metal person."

He walked over to the ship and saw Winona standing outside. "Oh, hello." He said nervously.

"There's a lot of people missing limbs." the man pointed out, his eyes going to Sophia's ears and other, non-human body parts.

 

[Chungus]

As man emerged from the back room, Caius looked towards it with nothing else to catch his eye, looking towards the backroom again once the man reopened the door to alow Joel through. He glanced towards the person sleeping in one of the beds for a brief moment, then looked away.

Without much decorations in the ship, Yeul looked over the models on display over a little longer, then looked up at the ceiling, looking to the lighting, squinting her eyes a little as she did. After a brief moment of this, Yeul walked over to the seating area, speciffically, the table with the magazines on it. Looking down on the table and looking the magazines over, Yeul cocked her head, a more pronounced confused expression showing. "Caius? Do you know what this says?" She asked, picking up the news paper, and turning around.

Caius walked over to Yeul and glanced over to the news paper, shaking his head shortly after. "I have seen characters such as those before, but no. I cannot read it."

Yeul hummed in response, laid the newspaper down again and then turned towards Sophia. "What of you, Sophia? Do can you read that?"

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"Hello there. My name is Winona." The tiny voice sounded. Winona was standing just outside the ship where she would still get cover from the rain. <color=green>"Those guys went out to go see a prosthetic limb shop for Joel. What's your name?" She asked with a smile.

"I and my sister are just browsing." EMily said to the man behind the counter. The sisters were intrigued by the limbs that were presented here. It was certainly more advanced than what was offered in this period, but no where near the quality of prosthetics where they come from.

With the man satisfied and heading to the ship, Samus walked into town, probably getting a few odd looks along the way, looking for a bounty store.
