<color=purple>"She's uhhhh... in the ship. How do you know her? And how is she a Sergeant?" She then looked at the giant man with the mechanical voice. <color=purple>"And who might him and you be?"

<color=green>"I.... see then." Winona said, in a slightly sad tone and not entirely sure what to say. <color=green>"As for cake, as much I'd love to make one, we'll worry about that later. For now it's nutrition first, sweets later (except for probably the syrup that can go with pancakes). The stuff you're eating now has fat, protein, and cholesterol needed for brain functions."

 

[Drakmorg]

"Still like shit, but less so."

Vicky replied to Joel. She picked up on hearing Alain say her name from the exit of the ship and sighed, then slowly stood back up.

"I'd better go see what that's about."

She said, excusing herself and heading towards the space-craft's exit.

"I'm Vicky by the way."

She added to Caius and Yeul on her way out.

 

[Chungus]

Yeul nodded to Winona, and walked to the counter to pick up the cup. Caius took the sword off his back, careful to not knock anything over in handling the large weapon, and propped it tip-down against a wall. He, too went to pick up a cup, but went towards the tap and filled it with water. Yeul moved to the refridgerator, and looked inside, looking over the contents. She looked at the various contents for a while, even after spotting the bottle milk, before deciding she looked enough and got what she came for. After filling her cup so that it was a little over half full, she put the bottle back where she found it, and closed the fridge.

Yeul then went to sit down while waiting for Winona to bake the pancake, taking an experimental sip from the milk, and swirling it around in her mouth for a moment before swalling. Deciding she liked the flavour well enough, she took another sip. When Winona finished the pancakes, she put the cup down, and took the plate, adding a few strips of bacon. "Thank you for the breakfast." She said to Winona, then went to sit down again.

Caius remained standing while he waited for Winona to finish the pancakes, picking up the plate in his free hand when she was finished and adding two sausages. "Your generosity is appreciated.", then went to sit in the seat he placed his sword besides.

Both began eating. As they two ate, Caius glanced to Victoria again, watching her wolf down her food. "We are." He confirmed when Victoria addressed him and Yeul. "We arived here a day prior." Caius wondered why Victoria's voice sounded the way it did, but didn't think too much on it.

"I am Yeul." Yeul introduced herself to Victoria after swallowing a bite. She too wondered why Victoria's voice sounded mechanical, and opened her mouth, about to ask, before deciding against it.
As Victoria stood up and left, Yeul looked at her for a little longer, then looked away and continued eating her food.

The man continued to stare at Gwen. "He was a part of the event a while ago. got kidnapped. poor boy got beat in a prison. needs to report to his sarge now." the giant explained. "He told me his name was Hans on the ride over. I am Henry."

 

[Slenn]

Winona sat down to finish her breakfast, but not before saying <color=green>"You're most welcome." to both of them.

<color=green>"She didn't even say thank you." She sighed as Victoria went off outside. <color=green>"That girl's pretty damaged, I can tell."

"Such effort, only to master but a single spell?" Yeul questioned with some disbelief. "That seems highly impractical, go through something so complex that it needs decades to master, when an easier alternative is available. Even without taking into account these stones, surely carrying on ones person a weapon and heater would be a prefferable alternative to the task you mentioned as an example."

 

[Slenn]

Gwen cocked an eyebrow, and looked even more confused.
<color=purple>"Ummmm.... okay. If that's the case then, I'm sure you'd best explain what happened to the rest of the people here about Hans' relationship with Victoria."

Having finally gotten the chance to get some good shut eye, Sophia was slow to get out of bed, but like Victoria the smell of the bacon and sausages slowly but surely woke her from her slumber. As she slowly opened her eyes, she looked towards the doorway, still cocooned in her blanket as she contemplated getting up. Her stomach grumbling was the deciding factor as she get herself up, and switched out of her sleepwear and into a loose fitting t-shirt and the pants from the day before.

She'd eventually walk into the kitchen area, still looking half asleep with her hair quite messy. She took in a long, deep breath with her nose as she smiled a little. "Good morning~" She said quietly.

Henry shrugged. "Like I said, found him in a prison. I have no idea what his relationship is to this Victoria lady."

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"Good morning!" Winona greeted cheerfully as Sophia entered. She finished her breakfast. <color=green>"I'll be your chef for this morning. There's pancake batter if you want a pancake, and there's bacon, sausage, milk and fruit at the ready."

<color=purple>"Alrighty then. My name is Gwen. Gwen Mason." She nodded.

Doom Guy continued to look for whatever bounty posters were on the board. If he did find any then some might notice that he payed close attention to how many crimes they had.

As Joel ate, those present who were standing up may notice the roots of Joel's hair now had slightly more metallic grey in them.

"Well... In addition to mana leak when using runes, there's also a limit to how much mana can be used on the spell, and so there's also a limit to its power. Master mages can do pretty much anything with even a basic spell because of all the different ways it can be directed, especially with more power in the spell." Alain explained.

"Back in the world I was born in, there was a single Mage who managed to take over the world because he focused for over four centuries on the 'frost' spell. Just ice. Slowed down his body so he pretty much got ten times the lifespan of an average person, and was able to make an army of ice golems. Sentient things, created just using ice magic. It must of taken some crazy amounts of concentration and power to do that, especially since he's able to maintain the spell and rule over everyone with an iron it's at the same time."

"Alright, what's all the noise about?"

Victoria asked as she made her way outside. She considered her question already answered when she spotted the man slowly getting the blood washed of him in the rain.

"Lucky Stars, the hell happened to this guy?"

"Thanks." Sophia replied, still looking sleepy as she looked over to Joel, Caius and Yeul in the room and waved. "Y-you don't need to do that for me, I can make them. But I appreciate it so, alright." Sophia said as she walked over and took a seat. "I'll have a bunch of bacon and sausages. I think a pancake or two shouldn't hurt me, you don't have to put much milk in the mix to make pancakes, right?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes, brushing some of her bed head out of her face. "And use a little fruit wouldn't hurt either, thank you~" She said as she started looking more awake.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Hans, now soaked to the bone, snapped to attention. "Sergeant Victoria, Private Hans reporting! I apologize for my disappearance ma'am, I was unable to find a proper parking position for the Valkyrie! I am ready to provide a report of what occurred during my missing period." his ghostly voice crackled with energy as he reported, and caused Henry to guffaw.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"I'm an adept at this, so this isn't work for me. There should be some bacon and sausage ready as an appetizer. The milk and fruit are in the fridge, so help yourself. But I'll get your pancake ready." She said as she got up to remix the batter and make it into a pancake on the pan.

<color=green>"So, what did everyone dream about last night?" She said while cooking.

"I see... So while it is a difficult art to pick up, the effects one can achieve with it are varied and potent." Yeul mused.

"Yeul?" Caius spoke out, looking towards Yeul.

Yeul looked over her shoulder, to Caius, then back to Alain. "Well, we had best be off. There are still things we must do before the day is done. Perhaps we might continue the conversation at a later date." She stated. After saying goodbye, Yeul and Caius walked off.

Presently​

"Good morning." Yeul responded to Sophia.

Caius looked to her, and raised his hand in way of a greeting, having his mouth full at the time. After greeting Sophia, the two continued their meal.

Neither Caius nor Yeul had a sharp enough eye for detail to see the change in colour at the root of Joel's hair.

OoC: That's it for me.

 

[Zepherus14]

Sophia gave a small smile in response to Yeul's reply. Once she hear Winona's rendition, she slowly got up herself and grabbed a plate with some sausage and bacon, sticking one piece of bacon in her mouth as she went along to the fridge. "Mmmm this is good stuff." She mumbled with the bacon still partially hanging from her mouth, looking over her shoulder back to Winona. She then looked inside the fridge, grimacing a little to see the milk. "Hmm... what's this?" She thought out loud as she picked up one of the oranges, assuming it was a fruit but not sure what this one was. "It smells nice at least."

"Really?"

Vicky replied to Hans, not recognizing him and squinting with her right eye to try and see better.

"Oh yeah, it is."

She remarked as his face became clearer and her memory kicked in.

"Yeah, come in so you don't freeze to death out here."

She turned around and waved for Hans to follow as she walked back inside.

"Who's your new friend by the way?"
