"Y-yeah. That's a shadow" Teddie said, watching the blob approach. Suddenly, it shot up into the air and began contorting and changing shape. When it finished, the shadow had taken the form of a black and white ball, with two large red lips and a long tongue sticking out of its mouth.

Gwen was producing a gravity shield to protect Joel and her sisters from the rain. Once she got to Sophia, she put her shield over her as well.

"Why would we have to wait til midn-?" Sophia looked up felling that the rain had suddenly stopped hitting her. She looked confused until she noticed Gwen had shown up, realizing what had happened. "So, as I was saying, why do we have to wait for midnight? What's stopping us from doing whatever we need now?" She asked aloud, trying to ring some of the water from her clothes, fur and hair.
"Is that right... Regardless, you would have been better of leaving it be until the time those interest would have a better idea of the forces at work." Caius mused, his choice of words indicating he was no longer in what was going on. "There obviously is no tear in space to be found, here. So there must be something else at work."

The Shadow splattered black goo on the walls, as it slowly returned to its original form. "You defeated it! Let's hurry, I think the other person is a couple of floors up." Teddie said, coming out of hiding.
Teddie sniffed at the air, then made a nod-like motion with his body. "I think it can take us further up."
"Be careful with that!" She said as she put her hands out to grab hold of it too. "If she really did fall in this, we need to keep this safe."

"Well... I did want to get an umbrella and some other things before this whole mess started." Sophia admitted. "Yeul and Caius also wanted to grab some rain gear, so..." She said as she turned to Gwen. "Could you maybe come with us so we can grab those things and then be back in time for midnight Gwen?" She asked, still looking very much soggy.
"Winona and I can haul this TV back to the ship."
