"That is a possibility." Yeul responded, not having any better a guess. She momentarily looked to the doorway of the kitchen when EMily called out, then went back to eating her sandwich.

Caius settled on having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and began eating this somewhat hurriedly after finding a seat. "As a bounty hunter, what is your take on the whole situation?" Caius asked Samus, after eating a couple of spoonfulls.

 

[Random berk]

As no one had raised any objection to his presence on the ship the previous night, Proditus had boarded one of the ships along with EMily and Gwen. Though it would have entertained him a great deal to travel in the Valkyrie and witness Hans's reaction to his passenger's presence, for the sake of maintaining a low profile he decided against it fornow.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I am unsure. I know nothing of these knights, save that they seem to be mad. But if they deliberately came to this world looking for Sophia, we have to assume they can track and find us somehow." Samus posited, after a moment of thought.

 

[Drakmorg]

Victoria spotted "Silence" moving to follow Roland into the ship. She turned her head to glance at it and said,

"Hey, are you that robot that's been spying on us?"

 

[Chungus]

"Let them." Caius stated, "It would make finding out whoever has the right of it much simpler if we can hear what both sides have to say for themselves. I believe it is unwise to take any sort of action before then." After saying this, Caius brought another spoonfull of the oatmeal towards his mouth.

Finishing her sandwich, Yeul stood up, and brought her plate to the dishwasher, placing it inside. "Perhaps we could also inquire at the bounty store?" Yeul suggested. "When inquiring about matters such as these, that might be a good place to start."

As Victoria called out to them on their way back to the ship, "Silence" stopped moving. They had certainly been collecting information about the group, but she didn't need to know what. They did wonder, however, why Victoria was asking this. They thought that if they were the robot Roland mentioned, they he would've shot them, already.

Not carrying their notepad and pen with them, "Silence" only shook their head to answer.

 

[Kirke]

You wake up to realise that you have been circling above the group during the night. Mentally beating yourself up for this slip of discipline, you slowly head down. After a few minutes, you land about 20 metres away from the other ships. After going through your post-flight routine, you open the hatch and step out.

Previously, Midnight (GMT), On route to the Northern & Shell Ltd tower...
"Listen up Strike One! We are heading to the US for this mission. A group of extra-dimensionals have taken control of a TV tower. We need to go through the building and find out any available intel on this E.D. group. Be on your guard, current enemy status at the site is unknown."
A few minutes later, the came to a stop above the tower, and four soldiers grappled down ropes to the roof.
"Central, Strike One is in position on top of the tower, awaiting further orders."
"Confirmed, Big Sky. Strike One is cleared to commence the operation. Stay alert and watch your fire, there could be civilians in the AO."
The soldiers rush to the roof access door, taking cover on either side before one opens it slowly.

Vicky shrugged and turned her head back to face forward, keeping an eye on the field.

 

[Chungus]

When Victoria turned her attention away, "Silence" was about to move on, but stopped again when they noticed Shara's ship moving. They had noticed and filmed it during the night, when they lift the ship, but seeing it begin to land, the wanted to see just who was piloting it.

Turning towards the direction the ship landed, "Silence" began filming again, zooming in on the ship.

Entering the stairwell, the soldiers wouldn't find much amiss, just a regular stairwell. Based on the schematics the room the knights had originated in were about 5 flights down the tower in one of the Fox news taping and filming areas.

Otherwise the stairwell contained one spiraling section of stairs where one could look down the middle section to floors below.

 

[Kirke]

You glance around as you step out of your ship, noting 'Silence' as someone you don't know. You decide to close up the ship behind you, just in case, then head towards the entrance of Dave's ship.

As the squad is heading down the stairs, the receive a transmission from XCOM HQ.
"Strike One, the E.D. group was last seen in a TV studio five flights down. Begin your search there."
After a few minutes of cautious advance, the four are standing outside their target location. Once again, one of them pushes open the door while the others take cover against the wall. Once the door was open, two kept their guns through the doorway while two others moved in and took cover.

 

[Zepherus14]

The XCOM group would find themselves in the far end of a long hallway. There would be some papers scattered across the floor like people had left in a hurry, and several doors left ajar as people had made there escape. From the reports they would be looking for a room about half way down the hall, but they'd have to deal with some of the doors.

Luckily for them, most had a window wall which meant they could see inside the room at a glance.

Seeing Shara exit her ship, "Silence" cocked their head as they watched her, zooming in on her as she walked. Eventually, they discontinued the recording, but kept watching her for a moment longer. A moment after this, they lightly shrugged to themselves and continued on, finally entering the ship, themselves.

 

[Kirke]

The squad proceeds down the corridor slowly, two on either side. The two in front keep their guns trained forward, while the two behind open each door they pass and quickly scan the room beyond before continuing. Finally, the reach the news room, and line up on either side of it.

 

[Random berk]

Proditus was not impressed with the interior of the group's ship. Though it was constructed in a similar manner to larger cruisers of his own time, with the interior architecture to allow the crew to traverse the ship on foot, it was tiny. He had to move delicately through the halls to avoid constantly clanking against the wall and scraping the iron spikes adorning his armour against every surface. Soon he decided to spend as little time walking around the ship as possible and strode back out into the open, just in time to see the new ship land.

"While I am curious as to the morality of the situation, I do not think meeting them directly would be a good idea. They killed someone who had done them no wrong, so just imagine how they would treat us, people in the same group as their target." Samus told Caius. She looked at Yeul. "That is a good idea. They may not be the only ones hunting Sophia, and we might be able to gain more information on why she is being hunted."

 

[Kirke]

You stop when a quite literal giant steps out of Dave's ship. You are not certain how it even managed to fit in there, but while you consider that your hand immediately goes for your blaster. However, you are not confident it'd even faze the massive being, and you refrain from drawing your weapon.

 

[Zepherus14]

Entering into the room, the XCOM squad found the camera guy quivering by the camera that had assumeably filmed the encounter. He was pretty well dressed and clean shaven but had apparently peed his pants some time during the events that had gone on. Seeing the group enter, he quickly shot his hands up into the air, like he wanted to surrender, but didn't say anything.

The room itself was in a rather big mess, much of the studio was trashed, looking like a small explosion had gone off when the knights had arrived. Toppled equipment and props, the camera only managing to stay upright because of it being mounted onto a sturdy section of the room.

Victoria watched Shara's craft land with mild interest, being familiar with it and knowing it wasn't any sign of threat. When Proditus lumbered out of Dave's craft, she easily noticed him and glanced over.

"Great. Another damn primitive human. Exactly what we needed around here."

She muttered to herself, not actually making any effort to keep her voice down.

 

[Chungus]

"Precisely." Yeul confirmed with a single nod. "Caius and I aim to question Sophia, first. But after this, we will head to this establishment and see if they can tell us something about the matter."

"You assume Sophia did them no wrong, when you have no proof of this. Nor do we know those who persue her would not lash out at all around them like rabid beasts." Caius stated after he finised the rest of his oatmeal, standing up. "You also assume Sophia is inherently harmless. I do not. This odour she exudes is there, and that we do not know what it does, or that I cannot smell it, is alarming." Moving to the dishwasher, Caius placed his bowl inside, and closed it.

Proditus nodded at Shara with approval at her wise decision to keep her weapon holstered, and at Vicky's muttering,he glanced briefly at her. He sneered at the sight of the ears and tail marking her as some sort of abhuman, though showed no sign of disgust. However low her standing might have been among the servants of the Imperium, he had seen far more grotesque creatures as a result of the mutating effects of the Warp.
"I became something more than human a very long time ago." he remarked curtly, before gesturing at Shara. "Another of your acquaintances, or is this another newcomer?"
