<color=purple>"Oh, by the way, Shara. This is another one of my sisters." Gwen stood aside to introduce Winona.

<color=green>"Pleased to meet you Shara, I'm Winona. User of the weak nuclear force." She said politely and curtseyed.

"This man is a Chaos Marine. But I'm sure he can fill you in on the details." EMily said, crossing her arms. She didn't want to make any remarks that would set this guys booming voice off to scare all the animals away.

 

[Random berk]

"What was it that Madame Mason said? Actions speak louder than words? Perhaps I will have the opportunity to show you in time, abhuman." Proditus sneered, before turning back to Shara and Samus.
"I am Proditus Cappellanum, Apostle of the Word Bearers legion." he informed Shara, expanding on Samus's answer. "And you? You have a distinctly military bearing, that much is clear."

The door to Sophia's room presumably hadn't been locked when Samus had left, and Sophia herself hadn't used it since the night before. From inside her room, they could eventually hear one definite thud as something hit the floor followed by quiet groaning. Opening the door would reveal that Sophia was somewhat cocooned in her bed sheets, and had fallen off the back end onto the floor.

"Ow..." She whined quietly, sounding very low energy. Although there was a lingering chocolate smell, it was drastically smaller than before. To a normal human, they would have a very hard time telling it was chocolate without being told before hand what they were smelling.

From this new area, the XCOM squad would see that the knights had done a bit more looking through this area, much more paper and litter was across the floor and a couple doors were off their hinges. The hallway continued a little further before there was a bend.

 

[Kirke]

You introduce yourself as Shara to both Winona and Proditus and tell the latter that you're a freelance starship captain, not a soldier.

The squad headed through the corridor and when they approached the bend the squad leader took point, glancing around the corner.

 

[Chungus]

Hearing the thud on the other side of the door, Caius motioned for Yeul to back away, expecting Sophia to open the door soon. He waited after this, but as it took more time, reached out for the door latch and opened the door, himself. Stepping inside, Caius saw Sophia laying on the ground. He wanted to imediately get to the point, opening his mouth with the words on the tip of the tongue, but refrained from speaking them just yet. Instead, he approached Soptoa, asking, "Do you need a hand in getting up?"

Yeul moved back when Caius signaled her to do so. When Caius entered Sophia's room, Yeul leaned to the side to get a better look inside the room, seeing Sophia on the ground. She was about to ask if Sophia was alright, but kept quiet as Caius offered assistance.

"Silence" stood by, some distance away from Sophia's room, further down the hallway. They didn't see fit to approach further, as they could still pick up on what was being said from where they stood, with the door of Sophia's room being open.

Approaching the bend, the squad would start to hear the outside sounds of the city hustle and bustle. They would find out why when they turned the corner, seeing the glass of the window in the far corridor had been melted to make a large opening. The hole looked large enough for a man to easily slip through, and would drop them a very very large distance to the bottom.

Sophia took a second to look around the room sluggishly, trying to figure out where she was before concluding it was in her room. She then looked up to Caius, giving him a nod as she slowly tried to get her arm out of the blanket cocoon she'd made herself in her sleep. It was pretty evident that even if Sophia had gotten to sleep that night, she hadn't gotten any good rest from it. "W-what time is it? When did I get here?" She asked quietly.

Hearing commotion coming from Sophia's room, Alain walked over to see what was going on. When he saw that Caius and Yeul were going to talk to Sophia, he stood outside the door and began to listen in, unknowingly standing just a few feet from Silence.

 

[Chungus]

"It is morning, although I do not know the exact hour." Caius answered. Placing his left hand on his knee, he leaned forward, and worked on lightly pulling the blankets away from Sophia. "You would have been brought here yesterday. I do not know by whom, and when, exactly. I was not there for that."

After a little longer of standing in the door opening, Yeul began to pick up on the chocolate smell, although it took her a moment to register it. Smelling it, she backed off more, just to be safe.

Seeing Yeul back away for what seemed like no reason, "Silence" cocked their head as they wondered why she did so.

They hadn't forgone paying attention to their surrounding, and whoever may be approaching at any one time. Thus, "Silence" noticed Alain when he approached, and began to back away, doing so reasonably slowly to avoiding making any noise, avoiding colision.

With three people now outside Sophia's door, "Silence" figured they could get away with simply walking up to those gathered casually without it raising questions. They backed away a few steps more, then turned around and began moving to the Tv room, where they left their notepad.

 

[Random berk]

Proditus dipped his head in acknowledgement of Shara's correction, then waited patiently to see what she had come for.

After some work getting the blankets off of her, and getting Sophia up onto the bed to sit, Sophia leaned her head on her hand, with that arm resting on her lap. "I feel awful..." She groaned, looking up to see the other people standing at the doorway. "W-what are you all doing here?" She asked, still seeming to be groggy.

 

[Chungus]

"Yeul and I wish to ask you some questions." Caius now stated, picking up the blanket after Sophia got up from under it, and rising to his full height, then lightly throwing the blanket on the bed.

"I also wished to see if you were well." Yeul added from where she stood, as far away from the door opening as she could manage before her back pressed against the wall opposite it. "Would you wish for me to get you anything? You have not eaten since yesterday morning."

[color=003399]"It was Samus that brought you here, just after you panicked and tried to run off."[/color] Joel said.

Alain tried and probably would fail to stay out of sight of Sophia and everyone in the doorway, but listened carefully as Caius began to ask questions.

"Oh... right..." Sophia said flatly, remembering what had happened yesterday, her tiredness keeping her from freaking the hell out a second time. "I guess that's fair..." She murmured, having not raised her head from her hand yet.

"Just get something for me to nibble on..." She looked up to Yeul, realizing how much farther away Yeul was now. Seeing Yeul acting like make Sophia take in a deep sigh, a bit of doubt slowly washing in, and even with her tiredness it could be still seen on her face like she was hurt by Yeul being afraid of her. "[small]Please[/small]"

 

[Kirke]

You ask Samus if she's watched the TV lately, hoping to subtly hint at the broadcast without letting Proditus know any more than you must.

 

[Chungus]

Yeul saw Sophia's expression change upon noting Yeul's was cautious of Sophia, and realised how this must make Sophia feel. This made her feel somewhat guilty, but at the same time, she didn't want to take any risks.

"Of course." Yeul responded with a nod. She was about to walk away, when Caius looked to her and spoke.

"Stop." He began, "I do not want you wandering around by yourself."

Yeul took a step forward, looking to Caius and lightly shaking her head. "It is not far from the kitchen to here. There is no harm in my being alone for such a short amount of time." She stated. She was about to add that the ship was a safe place to be in, when she thought back on all the times there was fighting inside enclosed spaces, which would make that statement not very true.

Caius looked to Yeul with a frown for a moment, then blew a soft sigh, and nodded. "Very well, then..." He said hesitantly. After Yeul gave a small nod in response, Caius looked back to Sophia. "As I said, I wish to ask you some questions."

Entering the viewing room, "Silence" looked to see if anyone was there, and shut off their cloaking systems once they found this wasn't the case. Approaching their notepad, they picked it up, then began walking back towards Sophia's room. Nearing it, they approached Joel and Alain standing outside the doorway.

"Yes, I have." Samus replied, catching Shara's meaning and playing along.

[color=003399]"If you don't mind me asking, why's Caius like that? Do you two come from a really dangerous place or something?"[/color] Joel asked Yeul.

 

[Chungus]

"It is a world more dangerous then this, yes. Many of the beasts are the size of automobiles. here, or even larger. But that is only a small part as to why he does this. He has guarded many seeressess before me, going back a long time. But, it is not my right to speak more on that." Yeul answered Joel as she walked. "I would say this; The behaviour is ingrained into him."

With Joel walking with Yeul towards the kitchen, "Silence" turned their head towards them as the two passed them, then returned to looking straight ahead. With Alain now the only one left outside Sophia's door, "Silence" approached him.

 

[Kirke]

You tell Samus that you ought to go inside and check how people are doing, and shortly after you go ahead and do just that. However, once you step inside you feel a terrible tiredness coming over you and you decide to wait for a moment before continuing on.

The squad leader cautiously stepped forward to the edge, glancing down for a moment. "We found out why the local authorities couldn't catch them, but that doesn't explain how they got out of here. Good work Strike One, return to the Skyranger for evac."
The squad did just that, quickly heading back the way they came and up through the stairwell. The skyranger had landed once the roof was secure, and now the squad stepped onboard. Soon enough, they were on their way back to base.
