You lean against the wall next to the room, and glance over at Silence and Alain. As you don't have any idea of the situation, or who either of them were, you simply shake your head to yourself while looking down. You make sure to listen in on the muffled conversation as best you can, both for intel and to be ready if the man you do not know goes too far. By the sound of Sophia's voice, you suspect that might not be far away.

"But I imagine things would be more difficult for you, had you only the one arm." Yeul commented, turning back to face Joel while she thought what she should put on the toast. Her mind couldn't help but wander towards the idea of chocolate, but she was quick to dismiss that thought.

"I wonder, is the robotic arm not increddible heavy?" She asked Joel.

Caius initially said nothing as Sophia practically confirmed her powers had fully affected someone before. Looking down to Sophia and seeing her about to burst out into tears again, he decided to finally ease up on her, but only because the most pressing questions had been asked already.

"A final question." He announded. "How long ago did this happen?"

[color=003399]"Yeah, probably."[/color] Joel said. [color=003399]"It's not that heavy, but I'm probably stronger than most people."[/color]

You look the part. "How do things like showering go? Do you need to remove the limb to prevent it from short circuiting, or are the electrical conponents water proof?" Yeul questioned, turning around again. Reaching for the pantry, needing to tip-toe a bit to get to the jar she wanted, Yeul pulled out a jar of honey, and began spreading a layer over the toast.

"I... I don't know that." Sophia answered back after a long pause. "I-It would be 3 years ago for me... but the way they are acting... it doesn't seem to the same for them." Sophia answered.

[color=003399]"They're waterproof."[/color] Joel explained. [color=003399]"I mostly use detachable shower heads, just to be safe, though."[/color]

"Time seems to flow differently between certain worlds, so that would account as to why." Caius stated, shifting position a little, placing a little more weight on his right leg. "As if you have developed a better control of your power since this instance, I see no reason to see you as a direct threat to Yeul's safety, and would not keep her away from you." He stated, turning around, but not imediately heading for the door. "I hope the knights will not get to you."

With that said, Caius moved to the door, and opened it.

After smearing honey over the pieces of toast, Yeul put the jar back and picked picked up the plate, begining to head back to the exit of the kitchen. "Where does the arm get its power from, to begin with?" She asked Joel as she walked.

Ah yes, good old time dilation. I never did find out why that happened, though I'd wager the universe is a bit of a twat. Hm, I do wonder if the Mason sisters were ever informed of my demise. I suppose not, if I couldn't contact them, I doubt anybody else had the skill to. That reminds me, did I leave a record of my research anywhere? I don't think I was ever that stupid, but I really should have found a way to give a copy to the Masons'. I put a lot of work into that research, shame if it's all just stuck here in the afterlife for all eternity.

When Caius opens the door, you look sideways towards it with your arms crossed. You've got nothing really to say to him, and he doesn't seem like the type for dialogue anyway.

"T-Thank you." Sophia timidly replied, her head still tilted down slightly. Needless to say, she was a bit surprised that he hadn't asked more, but she was relieved to hear it was over, even if her face didn't show it. Sophia wouldn't leave her sitting position on the bed, and simply sat there as she watched Caius leave.

"We should also check up on Shara as well. We haven't seen her around in a while and I'd just like to know what she's been up to."

Leaving Sophia's room, Caius glanced at Shara on his way, saying nothing, but wondering who she was, given the fact that she bothered to stick around outside the door. He didn't put much thought toward the matter, however, instead moving down the hallway, towards the kitchen.

You step past Caius and knock on the door before stepping in. Seeing the usually bright Sophia this down saddens you, and you look at her with concern. You also smell a strange odur, but ignore it.

"What I meant was to see what she's been up to. Not just check if she's 'just fine'. Making conversation you know?"

OOC: At anime club. Might be unresponsive for a while.

Code:
"Yeah."
Victoria simply replied to Yeul, rubbing at the scar on her throat.
Code:
"Some lucky bastard got me in the throat. Medics were able to keep me from dying, but by the time I got to the hospital they couldn't save my voice-box. So I had to get it replaced."
She retold the story without much to show for emotion.

Sophia continued to watch as Caius walked off, then noticed Shara standing at the doorway. Sophia tried to put on a smile for Shara, but it wasn't convincing. "I-I'm ok..." She lied. Since she was still wearing her clothing from before, she'd have quite a few grass stains from Hans tackling her from before, as well as a little bit of dirt here and there.

You walk over, closing the door behind you, and sit down next to Sophia. Resting your elbows against your knees, you struggle to think up anything to say. In leiu of anything else, you admit you're not very good at comforting people. With a slight smile as you remember happier days, you say that any sorrows were quickly drowned in song and dance, along with copious amounts of alcohol. Regardless, you promise to try the best you can. You put an arm around Sophia in a sisterly fashion and say that things will get better.
