"Well. That was a lot of fun." Sam said with no small amount of sarcasm in his voice, looking to the quarted of guards walking away now that the state of emergency had been lifted, then looked to Elm once it hovered out of the operating theatre. "Hey. In the future? Don't ask me to kill a downed enemy." He said, turning to Elm and accusatively pointing his finger at it while he talked.
"I gave you that order, anticipating the threat of her friend dying would be enough to keep the other one in line." Elm stated as it hovered towards it, stopping near Sam. "Weren't my calculations correct?"
"Almost weren't. I came this close to killing the hurt PoW, while the other one wasn't even being host--" Sam began to answer, but was interupted by Elm.
"But you didn't, which can only mean the threat to the original captive was enough to keep the peace." Elm pointed out, then, after a brief pause, added, "But let's supppose it wouldn't have been, the deceased could simply have been reporposed. No loss, other then probably colateral damage."
Sam looked away from Elm with a "Tsk..." He was quiet for a moment, then glanced back, saying, "Still. Striking at a defenceless person's low, and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't ask me to do it, again."
"Duly noted."
