Samus looked away from Seras awkwardly, then answered Matilda. "It's been... A few weeks, I think. Time is strange here."

Code:
"Eh."
Vicky answered Samus as she rubbed at her right eye.
Code:
"All the time."
She said to Matilda, following up by adding,
Code:
"Name's Vicky, by the way. What's yours?"

[color=006d5b]"Right. I didn't see that."[/color] Matilda replied, turning to face Vicky and pointing at her eyes. [color=006d5b]"I'm completely blind."[/color]

The sisters put themselves in a corner of the room to relax as the ride continued.

Code:
"Oh. Well that explains it then. I'll keep that in mind."
Victoria casually replied to Matilda.

Seeing the injury inflicted on the poor man, Sophia subconsciously raised her hand up to her chest area where the hole was. By the look on her face, she wasn't sure if she had the serious medical care they needed for this. She opened her mouth as if to say she couldn't help, but then buttoned her lip, catching herself as she didn't want to admit she couldn't do anything. After a long pause, her eyes opening wide like she'd thought of something as she replied.

"If he can make it long enough to get to the place we're going, is there something there to help?" She asked, trying to think of a solution. Corporal Taylor would have eventually answered back that if they could get Private Ignatyev back to base, the station they were heading to did have the necessary supplies to save him. And with that, Sophia's goal was lowered from something out of her bounds, to something she had a chance to achieve, her mind set on what she needed to do.

She quickly walked over to the fallen soldier, her level two shield already forming on her left hand as she stooped down to the private's side. "I need you to tell the people where we're going that they need to prepare that stuff, and for us to go as fast as we can there! He's going to make it!" She announced back, almost resolute as she started forming the white chocolate in the shield's membrane, the brown chocolate orb passing back and forth through the inner membrane of the double layered shield. Once it was white and shining brightly, Sophia laid her hands down on the wound, not trying to remove the injury, but prolonging the time it would take to succumb to his injuries.

Gwen would smell the chocolate smell coming off the spell, but would be quite a bit less than she'd expect with the amount of chocolate Sophia was using at the moment.

Looking up from her computer screen while sitting, Winona said to Matilda:
<color=green>"Ah. I figured that would be the case since you asked Gwen to write for you in Braille."

[color=006d5b]"Thanks."[/color] Matilda said, moving her hands and head back to a resting position. [color=006d5b]"Are white canes not a symbol of visual impairment wherever you two are from?"[/color]

Winona smiled and chuckled.
<color=green>"To be quite honest, we rarely ever see canes for people. The thing is, our technology is capable of adapting to severe blindness, by giving people a special pair of glasses that accesses the brain and provides optical input via the handles on the glasses. It's the same way Sara's glasses operate to help with her temporary colorblindness. Other than that, people still use contacts because they're cheap and efficient."

[color=006d5b]"Right. Well then, I guess that's a pretty good reason to to have noticed."[/color] Matilda replied.

<color=brown>"By the way, I thought I'd give you at least a basic introduction to the atom, since you were confused about our powers earlier. Have the components of an atom ever been described to you? We kind of glossed over them in a sense."

[color=006d5b]"Oh, yeah, that. Uh... there's the electrons and the nucleus, right?"[/color] Matilda said, trying to recall what she knew about atoms. [color=006d5b]"And the electrons go around the nucleus."[/color]

<color=brown>"Very good. There are the electrons, which have a negative electric charge. The nucleus is further made up of smaller components, called protons and neutrons. Most people picture them as balls that are held together. Neutrons are particles that have no electric charge, as the name suggests. Protons have positive electrical charge. And the unlike electrical charges attract each other keeping the electrons around the atom. But like charges repel one another, and most atomic nuclei are made up of multiple protons. They would be flying apart if it weren't for the strong nuclear force that holds it together. Is this coming across so far? I hope I am." She said in a tone that was thoughtful, making sure she was being descriptive enough.

<color=purple>She really is something. Being able to go through all the chaos that magic has gotten her into. But the smell is not as pungent as I remembered it. Interesting. "Wow." She softly spoke, as if the amazement could not be contained in her mouth and managed to escape as that one word.
