[color=The human with the elven ears]"Oh!"[/color] The woman covered her mouth for a moment, realizing she'd been found out. [color=The human with the elven ears]"I'm sorry, I was just wondering where you had gotten the maid outfit? It was really cute. I was thinking it could have been from the new costume shop in town, given your friends."[/color] The lass explained, pointing to Sophia and Victoria. [color=The human with the elven ears]"If there had been a maid outfit somewhere, I might have stayed there a little longer, but all I got were these."[/color] She said as her ears wiggled slightly. [color=The human with the elven ears]"Still worth it I'd say~"[/color]

[color=006d5b]"What's this about costumes? Who's she talking about? What was all she got?"[/color] Matilda asked, quite confused.

"Uh..." Sophia was a bit speechless when she was told she was wearing a costume. "I... think she's talking about me and Victoria..?" She mumbled to Matilda, a bit stunned by the situation to properly address her. "She smells like a human... but she's got really long ears for some reason?" Sophia quietly added.

[color=006d5b]"Why would she think you're wearing costumes?"[/color] Matilda asked, not being aware of the whole 'fuzzy ears and tails' thing.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well... I understand you wouldn't really know by just listening to me, [small]but I've got a tail and ears among other things.[/small]" She answered back to Matilda, then looking to Victoria for a moment. "So does Victoria."

 

[Drakmorg]

Victoria looked up from her food long enough to give the woman who walked over an 'Are you fucking kidding me?' look before returning to eating.

 

[Slenn]

EMily smiled brightly. "Thank you very much. But we didn't get these from a costume shop. We designed and created these with the help of our parents."

<color=purple>"That man at the metal foundry mentioned there was a new costume shop nearby as well."

"Do the... ears move on their own?" EMily asked in a curious tone.

[color=006d5b]"Oh, that explains why you got described as a 'ferret girl'. So, are you really furry or something?"[/color] Matilda asked.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Oh no, just my ears and tail are really furry. If I was totally covered it would be waaay too hot here." Sophia answered back.

The woman wasn't entirely sure why Victoria gave her the look she did, but hearing the news about the dresses she quickly put that aside. [color=The human with the elven ears]"That's so awesome~ [small]Wish my parents were super cool like that and made me one of those...[/small] And yes they did, although I could kinda do that with my normal ears, guess it gets a bit more noticeable when they are much longer."[/color] The woman smiled brightly. [color=The human with the elven ears]"Ya, it's really weird, that place kinda just came out of nowhere a while back, I don't really get how it all works, it's almost like magic really. Oh I'm Cristie by the way."[/color] The woman answered as she extended her hand to Sara who was apparently the closest to her since she was the one to initiate the talk.

 

[Slenn]

Sara shook her hand and smiled. <color=brown>"Nice to meet you. My name is Sara. And these are my sisters: EMily, Winona, and Gwen." She gestured to each of them.

"The ears did seem particularly life-like. Interesting. Where is this place?"

 

[Zepherus14]

[color=The human with the elven ears]"Oh trust me, they are! They made some serious quality products. It's... uh... about five blocks up from here, and another..."[/color] Cristie stopped as she seemed to count out in her head how many blocks after. [color=The human with the elven ears]"Eight blocks to your left. It used to be an empty lot for a while but not it's got probably one of the coolest places I've ever seen in it."[/color] She grinned ecstatically, her ears raising up slightly in response. [color=The human with the elven ears]"It was nice talking with you~"[/color]

 

[Outisakanobody]

Seras and Faro put their suits away for later, then started wandering around out of bordom.

 

[Slenn]

EMily marked the location on the map with Photon as a tablet.
"Likewise." She smiled back.

"Looks like we have a place to visit other than architecture and museums."

 

[Drakmorg]

"The hell was that all about?"

Vicky muttered to herself in between mouthfuls of food, after the woman had left.

[color=006d5b]"Really? Uh... could I touch your ears? Just so I have an idea of what you mean."[/color] Matilda asked Sophia, a little timidly.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Maybe we could also grab a hat maybe? In some ways I think I'll be alright, but it seems pretty hot here too, and I don't exactly wanna be stuck in the sun in the middle of the day?" Sophia asked the sisters, seeing that EMily was making some sort of itinerary. "Also me and Matilda were thinking of maybe smelling some flowe-?" She stopped as she heard Matilda's reply.

"Ummm..." She said with a long pause. "S-sure, [small]I don't see why not really?[/small]" Sophia said as she leaned her head forwards a little, and guiding Matilda's hand up to her ears once she had begun to reach towards her. Sophia would try to not show it, but stroking her ears seemed to be a bit ticklish. The texture itself was rather fuzzy, the ears having a fair bet of cartilage in it, but were still pretty easy to manipulate if Matilda tried.

 

[Slenn]

"Sure we could go to an outdoors center or a mall to get some hot weather gear. We got some rainy gear from before, we might as well stock up."

After a few seconds of stroking Sophia's ears, Matilda moved her hand onto the top of Sophia's head, before bringing her hand back down to her side. [color=006d5b]"Thanks."[/color] Matilda said.

Once Matilda was done, Sophia let out a sigh as she brushed her ears, finally answering back with a "No problem.". Once she finally composed herself, Sophia looked over to Matilda again. "So was that what you were expecting, Matilda?" Sophia asked, not sure if Matilda had ever heard of a ferret before, let alone Sophia's ears being more on the top of her head and not on the sides.

While she waited for Matilda's response Sophia figured she'd address EMily too. "Good to hear, I guess I could have just used an umbrella maybe, but that would probably just draw in attention I don't really need."

[color=006d5b]"Pretty much. It felt about as fuzzy as I thought it would. I wasn't really expecting the ear position, though."[/color] Matilda replied.
