<color=brown>"There we go. All done." She said, as she threaded the needle one last time and tied the thread. She handed over the swimsuit to Sophia. <color=brown>"Go ahead to try it on to see how it fits."

<color=brown>"What are you drawing over there?" She said as she put away her her sewing materials in her satchel.

[color=006d5b]"What does it look like?"[/color] Matilda asked, stopping her cane. Sara would see that Matilda had made a bunch of wavy lines and circles in the sand.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"It looks like... some circles and waves. I didn't know if you had an idea in your head as to what you were wanting to draw."

Meanwhile the other sisters were in their room changing into their own swimwear that Schrødinger had delivered to them.

"Well, how long do you intend to serve? You're going to have to retire eventually." Seras pointed out.

[color=006d5b]"I was just making shapes."[/color] Matilda replied.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Retire?...Nah. That's not for me."

Vicky dismissively replied to Seras.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Alright sure, thank you." Sophia said as she gently took the bottoms back. "While I do that, would it be too much for you to inflate these?" Sophia asked as she offered the floaties. "It seems easy enough, but knowing my luck I might pop one by accident." Sophia nervously laughed.

While Sara decided on what she'd do with the floaties, Sophia worked on getting the goggles out of the package.

 

[Slenn]

She shrugged.
<color=brown>"Ah, okay."

Sara giggled at Sophia.
<color=brown>"Okay then. I'll do that for you."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Thanks again." Sophia said pleasantly, before letting out one last sigh as she scanned the ocean. "I guess I'll... go put these on then?" She said as she got up and left to head to her room. The way she said it, made it sound like she was still a bit anxious to go out into the water. The slight puffiness to her tail as she left making it excessively apparent.

<color=brown>"I think I'll go change myself as well." And Sara went off to do so. She got to the sisters' room as they were about to leave. Winona was in a lime green one-piece. Gwen was sporting a lavender two-piece with cross straps in front and back. And EMily had a navy blue sailor style two-piece. All of them put on their sunscreen and sunglasses as they headed outside towards Matilda.

<color=green>"Hi ho Matilda." Winona warmly greeted her.

Sophia went to her room to change, still a bit doubtful if this was really such a good idea or not.

"...What do you mean? Doesn't your military have an age limit? I mean, you can't expect to serve forever...?" Seras said.

 

[Drakmorg]

Vicky raised an eyebrow and looked to Seras for a moment in response to her question.

"No? I mean, why would it? So long as somebody wants to serve and won't be a liability, not really any reason to not let 'em."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well...as a person gets older, they tend to be...a less capable soldier? I mean, are you planning on becoming an officer?" Seras asked.

 

[Drakmorg]

"No. I just don't really plan on living that long."

Vicky casually replied.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"...What?" Seras said, rather taken aback by that last statement.

 

[Drakmorg]

"What?"

Vicky repeated, seeming confused by Seras' reaction.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well...what makes you think you're not going to live to old age?" Seras asked.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Doctors tell me that with the beating my body had taken I'm lucky if I don't drop before another ten years pass."

Vicky breathed out deeply.

"Speaking of which, what was up with that time I tried to help you and almost died?"

"Bu...that doesn't make you want to do something else? Take an easier job?" Seras asked. "Uh...I think it has something to do with Sophia's magic." she added.
